  • Hunters , ask yourself this question. Why the hell do I accept being told by the government when I can go and put food on the table?

    • I hear ya', but outside of a posted season, it's called poaching. When you're hungry, I understand, but there still must be a time when the game is not stressed. When fawns can be raised. When bucks can grow and then chase does/cows. That is why there is game to hunt. If not, all the game would be shot out.

    • Because unethical people don't stop killing when they have enough food sometimes. So these laws help keep tabs on wildlife to help maintain a healthy population. I hate government with the best of them but there is some real scumbags out there. If you need food I wouldn't judge you for shooting something.

    • If we don't abide by these rules, then the health and ultimately the existence of hunted populations will perish. We accept being told by the government when we can go and put food on the table because we want the thing that we put on our table to still be around.
