  • Tonon is more entertaining than he gets credit for. He's got that tendency to roll as a reset which I love and feels like a Glover move. He's also not scared to put himself in disadvantageous positions.

    • @@LPJMagicmusic agreed. He defintely went overboard with the douchiness after thw Floyd fight... I think Khabib humbled him a little because he was uber respectful in leadups to Dustin and Cowboy fights.... hut even before that he was very humble in all bis defeats (save khabin for obvious reasons pertaining to post fight wildness) as well as all his victories...

    • @@sbakernyc5761 i wouldn't say Khabib humbled him. In my original comment I said he's always been humble in victory and defeat. Meaning he always has been humble and its just all show, its his shtick fueled by the max level of confidence. I honestly think with all the bad press he undertood that he really had to tone it down to save face all while still having that large level of confidence which fueled the shit talk. But he really respects both those guys so it wasn't hard. These fighters lose in the gym all the time, its a game of constant humbling, which is why i don't think a single fight tamed him but thats just my 2 cents!

    • @@spliffzombonie tonon reminds me of a kid I grew up with. At 8 yrs old we he was pulling off 360 spread eagle etc etc tricks off massive jumps. He was able to ski the most difficult trails. Anyways, as teenager's we'd throw the gloves on at parties etc. Brice threw the gloves on for his first time against a 240lb 6'3" foot dude, I gave him a few pointers and he came out and threw perfect straight punches and instinctively would step with the jab and throw nice straight rights. He knocked the dude out in 15 seconds lol. My point is, tonon surprised me with his boxing ability. He is so naturally talented and coordinated that he's able to pick new thing up (muscle memory difference between boxing and jiu jitsu is night and day) faster than most people.
