My Saturday afternoon amateur team in the Birmingham AFA used to play a regular friendly in Helsingborg with the player who met a Swedish girl who he married and was living in Helsingborg. I did not go there one year when I was broke and it was the year that Henrik larrson decided to turn up and play the first 15 minutes for the opposition. He is genuinely a very very good bloke

A few weeks ago he got a fantastic reception here in Belgrade when he was being subbed in the Serbia-Sweden game, and he said afterwards that he was really surprised that people here love his so much. There are many Celtic fans in Serbia, and Larsson is forever green and white! It's been emotional. Henrik Larsson is a legend.

True so depressing and such an anti climax when not just he left but Thom, Sutton, Big Bad John .We got so used to either of those four scoring week in week out,sometimes all 4 scored in a game and then came one Saturday there was none of them on the score sheet ever again.

One of the all time greats. He could have graced any club in Europe but chose to stay with Celtic for 7 years through loyalty and love of a club. Only the draw of Barcelona could lure him to leave. He was a £650,000 find from Feyenoord by Wim Jansen who sadly is no longer with us. Absolute legend on and off the pitch. Henrik you were the true professional, God gave you a talent he would not be disappointed at how it was used❤

Hard to belive it's 6 years since he left. Time really does fly. I can only speak for myself but there was a special vibe about that Celtic team from 2001 to 2004 and the same in my own life. Weird how both mirrored my own life at the time: special days and people who enriched my life and then left at around the same time Larsson departed Celtic. The memories remain and are cherished though.

i was born in america and i moved to stirling the same year larsson signed, i became a celtic supporter and 7 years later when larsson leaves celtic i also leave scotland and go back to america, i just feel so privileged to live in scotland the same time larsson was there watching him countless weekends at celtic park made my time in scotland so wonderfull. god bless henrik larsson

Henrik was a class act, both as a player and a bloke. He was idolised at Celtic and Barca, and although I only saw glimpses of his former brilliance at Manchester United, I saw enough to know that he was a truly great player, and one that every Football fan should respect. The word class is often overused these days, but there couldn't be a more fitting word to describe Larsson. Reminds me a lot of Solskjaer the way he conducted himself. Top player, top man.

The real footballers play for the people, not for the money. Celtic was and is a club that by time became his devotion. When growing iduvidually as a player, he became loved by his fans and he showed them love by staying and beeing loyal to Celtic. He have always wanted what's best for Celtic and by that he today is an icon, almost a legend of a club playing in a mediocre league. It is amazing to see such passion for the game. Amazing player - amazing career.

If he decides to go into management, we would have to get him back to lead us to even more glory. He have always wanted what's best for Celtic and by that he today is an icon, almost a legend of a club playing in a mediocre league. It is amazing to see such passion for the game. Ohhh how i miss Henrik Larsson. He was and still is a genius. The greatest player i've seen in the hoops. After the Aalborg disaster, i've looked up videos that can make me happy, but watching Henrik just makes me sad again. He and Celtic break my heart. But still, I wouldn't change it for the world.
