  • I really appreciate the way you dig. I've watched so many videos where people just dig in a very chaotic and not functional way :) My father taught me as a child how to dig in snow and in soil, so when people aren't organize I almost can't look. Keep up the good work!

    • I came to say how bad the digging was, and find someone praising their digging lol. What if fossil hunters dug this way, just ripping the boxes apart in the mud? That was the most destructive way lol... not good

  • The kettel of Demjansk was the place were the "Frikorps Danmark" had their first contact with the Red Army. Their famous leader C.F Von Schalburg was killed here in 1942 when he stormed against the enemy. He later had a unit of Scandinavian volunteers named after him (Schalburg korpset). Frikorps Danmark was later renamed into Division Nordland and they where among the last SS units in Berlin in 1945. Rest in peace to all killed, no matter under which flag.

  • My guess you could get a good price for that ammo can. Normally they are pretty cheap but the fact it came from a hole where people were killed or did the killing probably makes it more desirable.

    • i guess you dont know there are thousands of years old mammut remains in this soil which have even fur thanks to the low level of oxygen there is no rotting or corroding so it has nothing to do with german engineering

  • I've watched a few videos, I don't understand why you always destroy all the archaeology. Surley shell in a preserved box and with packaging and labels with dates and origins is far better than tearing it all apart to oose shells and bullets

    • Collectors are paying huge sums of money for German militaria these days. These guys aren’t Archeologists, they’re grave robbers and opportunist; that’s all. They talk a big game about repatriation of bones sending them back to Germany, but it’s all horseshit. They dig constantly like Gold Miners with the hope one day they’ll find a preserved P08, MP40 or something similar so they can sell it.
