I would be very careful with that shovel. You don't want to be the last casualty of WWII.
As a fan of these videos and someone who is fascinated with archaeology I wish I was down in that hole help to excavate those artifacts. Unfortunately I'd need a winch or a crane to get me out but that being said I'm surprised at how deep these men had to dig to uncover all that gear and equipment. Looking forward to the next video.
"German canister" was known as a "Jerry Can" by the English speaking allies. "Jerry" was one of the many slang terms for a German soldier. Those stamped steel fuel canisters were so good, the Allies copied them and continue to call them "Jerry Cans" up to this day.
And the kraut gas can is worth two hundred usd intact, like before you throw it, in these parts...
We always called the 5 gallon fuel cans, Jerry Cans. I guess it's who you were around at the time.
@@tiredlawdog Do you go back to WWII because that's when the British started calling the German pattern stamped fuel containers "Jerry cans" The British military were using straight sided rectangular tin cans that were grossly inferior and collapsed when stacked so they copied the German "Jerry" can design and their great grandchildren nw say "we always called them that".
@@abrahamdozer6273 I was born in 1945,, so I guess I did in a way go back to WWII, but we always called those cans, Jerry Cans"
@@tiredlawdog After about 1941, the British called them Jerry Cans.
I'm amazed at the mixture of Soviet and German equipment. The American doesn't surprise me as we provided the USSR with a bunch of stuff, C-RATs included. Must have been a hell of a fight.
I bet they find so much stuff because when everything was left it was probably frozen covered in snow. Idk if I’m right but the amount these guys find is so crazy and the condition some things are in is awesome
In Soviet Russia, artifact find you
In United States of America, you have right to bear arms. In Soviet Russia, we have right to arm bears.
@@user-eb5nv9fe2l bro what music are you talking about
Thanks so much you men working hard looking for finds we do appreciate it 👍
Isn't it dangerous to handle the grenades and mines? I know it's been roting underground for 80 yrs. BUT!? These guys don't seem to even care. Experience I guess.
They're Russian. They don't care lol
Beautiful weapons!
The irony, digging up a bunch of shovels.
Another fantastic video! What do you do with the artifacts and bodies you find on your digs ?
THANKS FROM AUSTRALIA
Crazy how you guys handle the live ordinance. Awesome find though, be safe stay safe.
Is that a tunnel that you are excavating? These videos are fascinating...thank you guys. David in the UK.
It's better if they put them all on a display in a war museum. For the soldier's bones they should exhume and put them in a box coffin and have them a proper burial and a monument commemorating all the soldiers who.fought and died during WW2
I smell of history in my nose
Amazing!!
I think Soviets were the last ones to use the dugout. They had American food with them.
The American food was probably from the lend lease programs
Wow I seen stuff from 3 different countries and that's just what I spotted in one hole on the eastern front it just makes my head spin
What happened at The Eastern Front?? Some of what you guys find and the condition it's in is almost unbelievable!! It looks as though when the war ended, everybody just packed up, went home and left everything where it was...and that nobody ever went back!
Excelente descubrimiento, buenos tesoros ok vídeo.
Gostei do vídeo é Impressionante esses achado da 2° guerra mundial . Parabéns pelo trabalho de vocês .
Really cool but wish it were in English no idea what is being said sadly

nice finds, good job.
Nice finds.
I was equally fascinated by the soil makeup.... looked almost like ash.
Kinda a shame how these artifacts are handled seems to be of little care taken with them.
I thought that as well. They don't care about preservation... obviously.
Jimmie Allen Butchers!
Yeah, me too. I guess if these guys don’t dig it up for profit it will be lost forever, but it would have been nice to see actual archeologists do the dig.
In the UK "I found a grenade!" $hit! $hit! $hit! Don't panic! Call the bomb squad! These guys? Oh I found a grenade? Oh I'll just throw it onto that pile of other grenades, land mines and live ammo I found earlier, no big deal. Got to admire their guts, and the skill to find interesting stuff. EDIT: What's up with that music about two thirds in? Jesus I nearly swallowed my tongue in terror expecting a damn boss to appear, I need to cut back on Elden Ring.
Ah, durka durka durka.
15:37 are those bottles of pervitin omg that would be something id love on my shelf
German dug out? Lot of Russian items there. Perhaps it changed hands.
Not to mention American meat ration tin
I'm surprised they haven't caused an explosion by handling, or hitting with a shovel, the grenades, etc..
Amazing my Friend, good video. Thank you.
Thank you.
Let’s take time out to remember how great Jim Jones was, and they great things that Jim did.
This would be so nice And maybe in German 😂
Por favor !!!
Amazing
thanks for the english sub titles
👍
I just want to ask you, what do you do with the dead bodies you find? do you call the German government in case they are Germans? do they have a properly burial?
They must, but I also saw another video from another channel/blogger, they excavate and put all the bones of the German soldiers individually in a box coffin separately whilst the Soviet soldier's bones are put all together in one same box because they can't be indentified anymore and have them a ceremony and prayers before burying them on a mass grave.
Does it make anyone else cringe when they handle all these old explosives all Willy nilly?
75 years in swampy/wet ground renders older design explosive charges all but inert
@@onmilo yea for the most part. I guess, I've seen videos from Vietnam and other countries where they do eod type things and it seems like they take a little more caution. Just makes me jumpy either way 😃
No kidding! "Just a mine" ..TOSS ... "Just a live grenade" ... DROP Maybe, the Soviet stuff didn't go off very much.
Only a Russian would handle old explosives like that. No fear.
@@joejakubec9708 No fear but a little stupid ...
Great video
Those grenades could still be live!
Ok? It’s not hurting us
Great stuff 🇮🇪👍
exellent
Thanks for the content.
Now This is a We'll Fought Over trench!!! It must of been Very important!!!
Nice dig guys. My Russian is kinda weak, be nice for English subtitles
which country and location are these to be found
Germans hated those gas mask, they got in the way, and they had to carry them as part of their uniform
Boa sorte 👍👍😎
Wow
What is the metal detector? Could not identify it
To the victor goes the spoils.
Los videos buenos !!! Pero traduscan porfavor
What happens to the artifacts after the excavation is complete?? Peace from Texas!!! Love your awesome videos
they transfer them to museums or keep them for themselves
@@WWII_METAL_DETECTING Are any available for purchase?
You destroyed all you touch
Interesting to see a American can mixed in.
Nice video ✌😇 🇳🇱🇳🇱🇳🇱
ES IST DER KRIEG
If he extracted it with a 4ft prybar it’s fine to throw it. Hold on I got a 40k excavator that is bored
I really mis some english subtitle , if you guys could provide that , it would be very nice .. btw respect for your efforts ..
Just curious have you had any cave ins hopefully no one has been hurt or worse.
Why did they bury it so far down?
You guys what are you doing with the bodies when you finish?the video pls answer i am from pontos
Incredible Discoveries thank you for sharing and your noble work ❤️💙
Do you guys ever sell anything you find
These guy’s are just treasure hunters in my opinion. They certainly are not archaeologist’s by any means just look at the way they throw around their finds.
For that being a German dugout, there sure is a lot of USSR equipment
I wish we Can get full subtitles
How the hell does stuff wind up that deep in the ground?
Subtitles would be nice.
👍👍👍 🇧🇷
I could make it as a shelter
👍🇺🇲
I wonder if that canister was booby trapped and exploded when searched.
👍🏻🤘🏻🇩🇪
Time eats everything...""⏳🤔
Next time turn up the music a bit louder so nothing else can be heard at all.....
Agar us mehsos honi dia hota yai kaha sai aya phir tu kam karab tha bus aya kaha pata nahe yai wo kia ha
I wonder if it is dangerous handling rusted hand grenades like that
Naaa
Maybe... maybe.. not..

Porque eran enterrados tan profundo?

18:25 Wtf, German had English can food??? "Pork cheon meal with natural juices"
The Afrikakorps had a liking for British ‘Bully Beef’ in North Africa.
