  • Jokic has: 1) A change of speed that is beyond anything that I have seen best all time centers have; 2) Great shot from dunking to layups, to mid distance to 3 pointers; 3) Ability to read the game and see better than a drone what's going on, and decide accordingly; 4) Fantastic instincts to make the right decisions in a split of a second; 5) Fundamentals in pivoting that not even Tim Duncan had; 6) A hard work attitude that is unmatched. 7) Team's respect; 8) Heart of a lion.

    • To me Joker is a hybrid of Duncan, Olajuwon, Bird, Nowitzki, Magic, Sabonis, Shaq, Pistol Pete, Barkley...etc. Okay, I could have just said he is a blend of many of the all time greats. Joker is legit just like the current greats in Giannis, Embid, Step, Booker, Bron...etc. He's just a 7-foot Jordan or Kobe.

    • The NBA has always been big city basketball. I remember when they left Clyde Drexler off the All star ballot. The only reason that happened is because he played for Portland. Drexler was considered one of the top 50 players of all time and was on the Dream Team but couldn’t make the All Star game. Many considered him the second best guard to Jordan. They eventually let him in the all star game because everybody saw how outlandish the whole thing was. Many incidents like this over the years.

This entire video was a reach for most of them. Dwight Howard pushed him, nuggets get beat, they hug, then next season joker gets some pts on him (as this happens in basketball) and you call that getting back at him? And it was personal and he made those pts on him because of that push last season? Lol reeeeeaaaachhhh. So many of then like this in this video.

What I have seen is the "welcome to NBA" game for Ayton. Their first matchup Jokic made a point. Look it up.. After that it was all normal.. Back when the media hyped up Porzingis he made a point every game against him but when that died out (media moved on to CAT) and so on..

    • Dude, if someone isn't a trash talker or lives a controversial life, it doesn't mean he's not acknowledged. Why folks get to media more often is simply due to the fact that people love to read about gossip and scandals. A lot of European players said this: I think that black mamba said something similar, too, is that most of the players in NBA just don't know how to live a regular life afterward and end up unhappy or broke anyways. While Joker, on the other hand, doesn't involve basketball in his personal life. In a New Year's interview with serbian reporters, he was asked about what it means and feels to be MVP two years in a row. He simply replied that awards will matter to him more when he retires, so he will have something to brag about to his kids. For now, he just enjoys basketball and doesn't even want to aim on MVP. He was like, if it happens, great. If not, who cares 😁 he's really just enjoying the way it is. I assume that he's humble because he used to much much much worse. Most people in Serbia, born between 70s and 90s at some point, barely had bread on the table. That's why some of serbian greatest sportsman's don't trash talk anyone. They're grateful for what they did and where they came . As someone who was growing up in serbia during the 90s, i wouldn't wish anyone to understand how it feels and what it was. Now, as someone who earns pretty much for serbian standards, i just want to stay where I am... i don't need more... i mean, it would be nice to have an even more successful career and earn more money, but it's great as it is. I really think that is kinda Jokers standpoint too.

  • Jokic is from balkan, same as his brothers, things on balkan are done differently, he will stay calm until action is needed and to us if action is needed then its already too late for the other guys more often than not 😂 being a big dude on balkan aint easy coz as ur growing up others will look at u as a prize, if they take u down that means less fodder will annoy them and they will establish some physical dominance, im a big guy myself and went through all of that from 13-20 years. Constant fights all throughout highschool and more, aint something im proud of but when ur growing up in poorer places of balkan grown ups wont look at that seriously so u will get into constant fights, basically i had fights every 2 weeks, aint easy and im glad im out of that but even now if time calls for action im fully on it, i believe Jokic is similiar to that from what ive seen. Might be childish but thats growing up in a poor place on Balkan, u get tough wether u like it or not otherwise u will just be looked at as a prize if ur a big guy
