  • MJ was actually an okay baseball player and he was getting better. It's honestly really impressive that a 30 year old guy who hadn't played since HS could do that well.

    • For a 30 year old who hadn't played baseball since he was 17 or 18 it was damn impressive. His coaches said by the end he was improving big time. So what he hit around.200. Stats do not always tell the truth. If he had never played basketball but went the baseball route he probably would have been a pro in his 20s.

  • If you don’t think for one second Micheal would’ve continued to pursue baseball and become the first ever MLB and NBA if he could’ve. You’re just wrong. As competitive as Jordan was, you don’t think he wanted to play in the big leagues for his dad? He did everything in basketball by 1993.. if he was good at baseball like people think he was, then he would’ve stayed and made a big league roster spot and been the first to EVER do it with basketball. Baseball is just a different animal

  • MJ got caught up in gambling of some kind & was given the option to retire & go play baseball or whatever he wanted to away from the NBA for a year & a half. It just so happened to coincide with his father's murder AND the owner of the White Sox is the same owner of the Bulls. Reinsdorf was able to keep an eye on MJ with any team within the organizationa as an insider.
