Petr Yan VS Song Yadong. The fight was very entertaining and close, Petr Yan was coming off a series of 3 defeats in a row, and perhaps this could have been the last fight in his career. Petr Yan included fighting at the end of rounds 2 and 3, due to which he took both rounds. The fighters exchanged low kicks and spinners, both fought either at the net or just in a clinch. Result of the fight: Petr Yan won by split decision.
Yan tore his ACL, meniscus, & groin in that fight. Its insane how tough these fighters are

I'm so happy Petr won, I was worried about how he looked walking into the cage he looked like he'd seen a ghost before the fight started. I'm sure he could feel the pressure. Good to see him keep his hopes alive, especially after how injured he apparently was.
I'm new to UFC, but when i saw him walk in with that look i thought "this is a tired man looking for a win", and he found it. I was rooting for him and he's now one of my favorites.
@@wooblydooblygod3857if your new to ufc go watch some of petrs other fights he is prolly skills wise the best in the division to be honest but he lost somee decisions that were robbery and got screwed by judges he was the champion this fight is ok but not his best he was on one leg he had to have surgery after this fight but petr yan at 100% is truly something amazing to watch

Song is literally one of the deadliest strikers in the division who rocked Cory and was out damaging him on the feet until the cut... Alot even believe he would KO Merab. Yan beating him with 3 major injuries is absolutely insane. Let alone the fact that Yan took little to no damage and managed to out damage Song both on the feet and the ground by a wide amount.

Застаивается после ударов, быстро устает, борьба не на топ уровне(ее почти нет). Такого прессинга, как раньше уже нет. Еще и базарит кучеряво. Как бы мне того не хотелось, но чемпионом он уже не будет.
у него травма колена была, он не снялся с боя. из за этого потеря равновесия и не стал рисковать при защите от тейк даунов, не правльно думаешь
имхо, по одному бою судить не надо, тут совокупность факторов. Сонг во первых очень сложный соперник с одним из сильнейших ударов в этом весе и очень хорошей скоростью, во вторых травма ноги была, да еще и темп взяли со старта нереальный, вот и подустали в конце. Про застаивание после ударов вообще не правда, постоянно после ударов выходил с уклонами, рвал дистанцию или клинчевал Петр, тут он отлично все делал. Прессинг это не единственный ключ к победе, такого панчера как Сонг прессовать очень опасно, модно уснуть просто, это тебе не безударный мераб
