There's average players in the league right now making 5-6+ 3s a game. Steph changed the game in every level of basketball, from peewee to pros. Not my kind of basketball, I like more of the start in then out/mid-range era, but I have nothing but respect for Steph💯.

  • i've been a warriors fan since 2007, the days of Baron Davis, Monta Ellis, Don Nelson. I doubted Curry from day 1, because I thought he took wild shots and seemed a liability on defense. In those early years, I missed the days of Monta Ellis and his midrange game, and I missed the grit of that 2007 Warriors team who knocked of Dirk and the Mavs. Man, Curry has proved all of his doubters wrong ... especially me. Not just because he's helped win the city 3 rings. Not just because he's a 7 time all star, 2 time MVP, best 3 point shooter of all time. But because he is an incredible human being. Humble, rooted in faith, father figure. Classy. Congrats to Curry and I can't believe I get to witness his legacy unfolding each year.

    • It was weird that they were seated apart in the same stadium. Eventually they will be there with their significant others, unless they can work it out. The media has done well to leave the situation alone. Surprising.

  • Though my favorite shooter/player of all time is the late great Drazen Petrovic, congrats to Steph in breaking the all time 3 pointers made record! The greatest shooter debate is unfair simply because of eras and play style and roles on the team, but Steph makes the shot so effortless.

    • Petrovic had a higher % hitting over 45% of his treys. Steph is at 43.1%, highest of the top 50.

  • Compared with Ray Allen's 1,300 games to achieve 2,973 3s and Steph Curry exceeded it in just 789 games and assuming Steph will continue to play in the next at least 200 more games and even assuming a minimum average of 5 3s per game, then he will easily achieve 3,977 3s and that will now be a difficult figure for the next player to beat him. I don't think it's easy to beat his achievement in 3 points production in the future. He is unbeatable now in 3s

  • To see this record go thru the hands of 3 all time greats in my life time. All though I was young when miller broke the record in the 90s. Brings me nothing but joy to see this pure definition of generational talent take the torch for years to come. Congrats curry, From Detroit. You're a legend
