It's actually very impressive that there were no fatal accidents of A380. I remember one with the burning engine, but nobody died. It's truly revolutionary!
The pilots of Qantas flight 92 were true hero’s saving hundreds of lives where no ordinary pilot could. Full respect to those Mates.
yeah
@@The-Master-Chiefcorrection,Qantas 32.
Yeah I remember that incident..@@The-Master-Chief
a burning engine for most aircraft isn't a death sentence.
Fun Facts: SQ21 and SQ22 operated between SIN and EWR from 2004 and 2013 using A340-500. In 2018, they used A350-900ULR for SQ21 and SQ22.. Also fun fact, A350-900ULR is ONLY operator is Singapore Airlines
never knew either
Yep indeed we have 7 of them and its on my bucket list to fly on one day
Here’s a fact: The bathroom on board an Airbus A330 is in the cargo hold in order to allow room for more seats, so passengers have to walk down a set of stairs to access it. There’s also a small galley down there and flight attendants use a small elevator to bring carts up to the cabin
Spirit with the a380-800, the passenger limit:1235 max
I remember seeing a few A380s next to 747s at a handful of international airports. And I always found it hard to believe such massive things could possibly take off and maintain flight.
Maybe because back then when the B747 was new and so was aviation for commercial jets, and the 747 was invented in that time period were most accidents were human error. For an example the Tenerife disaster very foggy with limited vision and radar human error. Or JAL 123 the rudder fell off because the pilots were consistently pushing down on the rudder pedals which made it fall off. All the fatal accidents between aircraft that Boeing made was because of human error. And the A380’s time period is in a more modern era then when the B747 was released.
R.I.P 747😢 btw there is still some 747s in operation but it’s for cargo:(
wow. the a380 is my favorite aircraft. its a shame it is fading away into obscurity.
My favourite is the 747 A380 is my 2nd favourite
It’s not fading into obscurity. It’s not gonna be forgotten anytime soon but it is leaving service
Same goes with 747
The A380 is also a road in the uk en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/A380_road
A380 king of the skies B747 queen of the skies
The A340 was never meant to be a 4 engine aircraft. Airbus wanted to use 2 engines with some kind of gearbox that made it more effficient. Somehow a company convinced them that they can make it work reliably but they could make it work reliably (of course) so they had to use those tiny engines that are used for short-haul.
Its really nice for people to put so much lore and effort into here. We all have love for airplanes and airlines. But honestly...747 and the a380 are like brothers. Both giants, both popular, and everyone loves them!
Love your videos man, can never get enough, you explain these cool topics so well!
Thanks a lot! We're all about bringing clarity to cool topics, and it's amazing to know we're hitting the mark!
Amazing video, keep up the work! You must work so hard to make these videos, you deserve 1M subscribers!
Thank you so much for your kind words and support! We put our heart and soul into these videos, and it's incredibly rewarding to hear things like this :)
The a380 has quite a lot of controversy around it. As they got a lot of tax breaks from several European countries as well as investments, pretty sure that plane will never turn a profit. Still awesome
also the fact it breaks its air frame after 10 years
Absolutely, the A380's journey has been filled with both triumphs and challenges. It's a testament to the complexities of the aviation industry Regardless, its technological achievements are undeniably groundbreaking!
Love the video. Can't wait for part 3!
The quality of these videos are immaculate!
I’ve enjoyed the aviation centered histories you’ve made! With this quality you would be able to hit out of the park the convoluted histories of the U.S. airline companies! (Nudge nudge, wink wink)
5:40 RIP Air Berlin.
Finally! Been waiting for this one.
Who else loves this guys channel?
Humbled by the love! Thanks for being a part of our journey!

Boeing has an aircraft that serves a similar role to the Beluga, it’s called the DreamLifter and it’s a modified 747 with a big cargo hold. The tail opens up to access it, so the plane doesn’t have an APU
It was mentioned in the boeing vid , but im sure u know that
10/10 VIDEO FLATLIFE👏👏👏👏👏
kids in 2069: huh wdym only double deck full airliner we have KR-860
Shoutout to the pilots of Qantas 32 for saving the lives and the reputation of the A380
I have literally been waiting for this since you made 1/3

Yes episode 2 is beginning
Nicce!!! I have been waiting for airbus!
Quality of A380 is revolutionary to air travels Qantas fleet's one A380's engine caught fire but the plane travelled and landed safely with no fatalities
Yeah, QF32, it's great that there were no injuries.
Honestly, that speaks more about Quantas' pilots training and professional qualities rather than plane's reliability.
Yay I was waiting for this :D 😀
Amazing evolution of Airbus, now I can see whats good and whats bad about the company 💯🔥
finaly episode 2 of airbus history :)))
woah, love your videos. Watching you since years
Wow, thank you so much for sticking with us throughout the years!
@@Flatlife You have one of the best or even THE BEST VIDEOS EVER !

Yesssss! Flatlife has already realeased episode two of airbus
oh cool part 2 i hope Embraer appears next :)

Lockheed is also cool, but It would be best to do a military general one or ur yalking about the others, like the Tristar and 188 Electra idk Bro its a good Idea too but Lesser planes

epic video flatlife!!!!!
Epic viewers like you deserve epic content! ;)
thank you :)))@@Flatlife
amazing how airbus fought and was able to compete with a monster like boeing
they didn't really win as of yet especially since they don't have a huge airliner in production like the 747
@@flyingpizza7486the 747 isn’t in production anymore with airlines slowly replacing them and well the A380 is just stopped being built
@@loco4loco I know but when the A380 stopped being in production the 747 was still kicking.
@@flyingpizza7486 and both queens have been retired form producing
@@loco4loco there is only 1 queen and it is the 747 and I'm fully aware the 747 isn't being produced
Great video man
Another one. Great video
Fun Fact: Airbus is trying to get FAA approval for Beluga operations in the US.. if it gets approved.. grab your camera's! The Airbus A318 depreciated so badly... the ENGINES.. were MORE expensive then the entire airframe..
ANOTHER PART 🔥🔥
Awesome 👍
Fun Fact: Normal A319s have 1 emergency exit, but EasyJet spent Millions just for another one of the emergency exits, props to easyjet for saving more time in a emergency evacuation
At last I have waited for part 2
There was another A330 accident known as Airbus Industrie flight 129 in 1995, which was a test flight in Toulose that lost control and crashed. Sadly, all 7 occupants died and this was the first A330 accident.
Back, again! It looks like the airbus planes are getting bigger in this video...
We finally got part 2! I was here since part 1 was released.
You made it sound like it was released 7 years ago not 7 days ago
@@loco4loco Dude, I sent this comment when this was released 55 minutes ago.

'A minor detail but is no one commenting on the mispronounciation of one of the two oldest airlines in the world: QANTAS! (The "Queensland And Northern Territory Aerial Services": 'The Flying Kangaroo' of Australia 🇦🇺 It's widely considered to be the only airline to fly to all seven continents since it's the only one to serve destinations in six continents as well as to fly regular sightseeing flights over Antarctica! ✈️ 🛩 🛬 🛫 ✈️ 🇨🇦 🍁 🇨🇦 🛩 🛬 🛫 ✈️

Your appreciation warms our hearts. Thanks for recognizing the effort and time we put into the video!
Great history! ❤❤. It reminds the history to me compared to boeing. thanks 🎉
I have an idea! For any more manufacturer history videos, you should represent the aircraft as your own livery!
So cool!
Amazing
Woooo new vid!
I like it how he showed Kingfisher Airlines at 2:10. My mom used to work for that airline before it went bankrupt..
I've heard that Emirates has so much bargaining power that if the need arises, they can demand one customized A380 stretched to hold more passengers. Other than that, I don't know how many it can hold but Airbus admitted they will build it if Emirates demands it.
I love the A380 especially the Emirates A380’s because I have flown on it and it was magnificent.
It is ❤❤❤❤❤
15:59 "hong kong to new york" *proceeds to show china to new york* "sydney to istanbul" *proceeds to show western australia to moscow*

15:55 He mentioned my country!!
Actually Hong Kong isn’t a country its the most country not country
The a330 was known for its smooth landings now it's called the butter machine
I loved airplanes since I was born. And while I may still be growing and need a job at some point The sky is my office :)

Fun fact: A normal A319 has one exit on the wing but easyjet puts there a second exit
Very educational video
Aer Lingus used its A330s help Airbus achieve ETOPS certification for the type for North Atlantic routes.
As a french living in Toulouse, I can guarantee you that I see the Beluga everyday at my local airport !
