Private Sandhill Cranes Photography Tour
Everyone talks about going to Kearney, Nebraska to view Sandhill Cranes. We chose to visit North Platte, Nebraska instead, and wow were we impressed! Dusty Trails did not pay us to make this video but we had to let people know of this option for viewing and photographing the Sandhill Crane spring migration. We will be filming a full photography guide so you can plan your trip there too.

Thank you for the sneak peek. I can't wait to see the next video. Thanks for sharing the sounds of the cranes. That's amazing!!!
You are welcome! Working on writing all the details so I remember it all for the indepth vid :)
Those prairie chickens !!! ❤❤❤
Omg right?
We have about 5,000 of them winter about an hour drive from where we live. I love their calls. It just makes me think of everything that is wild and beautiful in nature. Great video you all.
Wow, super cool! Their call is so unique, I'm so glad we could share it.
This is so cool! What a great experience!
Yes!
I've wanted to see the Sandhill cranes for decades. And more decades. Didn't know they migrated thru North Platte. Ever see the ones in Southern Colorado? I really liked when you said the rule is "no kids under 10".
I haven't! As we were leaving for Nebraska I saw a post about a town in Colorado they come to. Next year maybe.
You were lucky that they rooster in front of the blind when you were there. I did the morning tour twice and all the cranes were further down the river. Got some good audio and shots of distant flocks but I think I’ll work the fields in the daytime from now on
Yeah it seemed super magical. We tried to find cranes in fields too but only saw them on the bus tour.
Great video!
Thanks!
Thanks guys..............looking at next spring, does Dusty do fall migration tours also??
Hmm I'm not sure. Def check the website and maybe email them.
