  • I like what Courtney said about bed sheets. She’s hardcore like my grandmother. She endorses washing bed sheets once a week. I wash my bed sheets every two weeks. I figured out my best routine when I was 18. I still work for the same company 18 years later. I’ve been there for half my life now. Every payday weekend I wash my bed sheets. Just bought new ones this month actually. As a bachelor I’ve learned that payday weekend is a good marker for routine chores such as washing bedsheets and vacuuming my car. The first weekend of the month is good for washing shower curtains and bath rugs and mopping bathroom floors. Just some tips I use.

Generally helping mtn Better understand them, while also improving ourselves, so that we can be better men, people and partners Not just to get women, but to be better overall human beings. Any little detail that helps creating the environment you need to relax and have a peaceful night is worth it... Even when its just a tiny thing like putting your phone away from nightstand or adding a plant. Good video and keep the great work up, Miss Ryan ✌️

    • Nah I didn't find them important at all. Most of these things are actually needed by women, not men. Sure, if you as a man have all these, you'll be a lot more sympathetic to women, but tbh as a grown man all YOU (and not others) need in your bedroom is a comfortable bed, and some source of light. All the rest is just plus for additional comfort. I personally never needed a candle, but I still have one 'cause I noticed women like it. Men need hell a lot less than women, that's the truth.

  • Very interesting video. Decided to evaluate my space and listen to this for ideas and I got a thing or two that I'd upgrade when I'm in my own place (still with the parents atm) but I'm good for the most part. I got a decent array of books (could use a bookshelf tho but space is lacking), good bed, mattress and plenty of varying sheets to go with. Also got the lamp and candles. I didn't even know humidifiers were a thing lol, for reasons of I'm not on my own plus religious I don't have or use protection (my safety is abstinence until married, plus even if I was intending on bringing different girls home I probably wouldn't bring them home to my room then get into it with my grandma in the bedroom directly opposite). Definitely need a mirror though, that's the one thing I'm lacking. Edit: also realised I forgot I don't have drapes. I think given my situation currently my room is good. When I do go in my own however I would change a few things. I've got a TV in my room standing on a shelf with lots of DVD'S and Blu-Rays, and I used to have a PS4 (now in storage, I need a break from it) there too. Also I got a pretty bulky desk underneath my window hence why I can't have drapes. If I'm riding solo, I may not have the TV in my room as I could watch whatever in the TV room anyway, if I keep one in my room id wall mount it. Would definitely look into getting a proper bookshelf to better display my books. I'd definitely get a different wardrobe, something a bit more modern, probably bigger and something that either has or could at least fit a mirror. I'd go for a more sleek and modern desk also, I'd try to get a drawer cabinet to store a few things. My "artwork" is something I'm actually quite proud of mostly, I've got a couple little kid photos of myself which I might not hang up on my own but I think with patents around its more appropriate, but what I would definitely keep is my religious iconography. I'm big in my faith, it's the core to who I am and the artwork reflects that plus I think it fits well into respectable and mature and not nothing like the naked chick's or the beer boxes. Definitely when on my own I'd look into drapes. Really liked this video courtney.

Get your head right, and your immutable traits won't matter nearly as much to you or to anyone else as they do now. If you can't hold a conversation without spitting venom, putting your loathing for self and others on full, shameful display, then your mindset is going to continue to be flat-out repulsive. A bitter disposition is a bad look on anyone. Read books. Work on yourself. Until you've put in some real effort, maybe you ought to quit crying about how come nothing's changing. Most of my reading is done in the living room or the dining room because your brain can associate certain behaviors with certain environments so I no longer watch TV in my bedroom, I no longer read in my bedroom and I for sure as hell don't ever eat in my bedroom anymore. Obviously the candles I use match the fragrance of the oil in the diffuser and of course reed diffusers too. I have millions of books. I also keep my bed covered with faux fur throws in co-ordinated colors above the bedspread and there are pillows and cushions all over the place.. One thing I would argue is also essential in a bedroom that you missed is potted plants. I have 5 plants in my bedroom and also occasionally put in a bouquet of flowers to brighten the place further.

  • Interesting evaluation. Most men do not really pay much attention to "atmosphere" in their living spaces like women do, so I'm sure this is useful. It doesn't have to be perfect, just uplifting. I have am fortunate to own a home to myself, so each room has a different visual theme according to it's purpose. Play, eat, cook, work, rest. I think it's important to divide your home according to your activities. I eat dinner every night in my dining room, even if it is alone. That's my way of honoring the way it used to be with family. My living room has all my favorite pictures, books, and memorable items. My game room has all my electronics and musical instruments. My bedroom is simple and comfortably decorated --- no TV, no computer, no toys, no distractions. And surprisingly, contains 9 out of 10 things on this list.

As it is, to add a nightstand for her the mattress sits under a window where I would have a headboard behind me. That's the concession to age and the master bedroom isn't on the main floor (where the only bathroom is) and has been converted to an entertainment room. My must haves are a book on the nightstand and a diffusor with lavender or eucalyptus to help me sleep. I have 3 Leonid Afremov prints with a robin egg blue wall color that makes them pop. Still looking for the perfect picture for the 4th wall.

  • I'm glad you brought that up, Courtney. You would be beside yourself if you knew the dungeon I live in. If I sent you a bathroom photo, you would lose your lunch when viewing it. A brief description; there is no hot water, the water that feeds the toilet tank has been bypassed, the room is at best 45 degrees, I see my breath all winter in it, to flush the toilet, there is a hose from the well-water sink runs down the side of the sink into a 5-gallon pail where you use that to flush it. The 12X14 foot room I live in has a space heater. On a good night, I can sleep well at 55 degrees, and on a cold night, it's 48 degrees with the space heater running all the time. My last shower was at my late father's house in October 2020. Since then, I have washed in my room with 49-degree well water. There's plenty where that came from. Recketeers are ruthless; people have disappeared, and I know I'm not far behind. They are the John Gotti of the 21st Century. Regards

Also started to develop headaches and nausea from it. The thing about incense is that you have to be in an open, well-circulated environment if you are burning it, because it can in fact be very harmful to your respiratory system. After a while I got tired of the headaches and feeling sick from my room smelling like a big bonfire pit. Just buy a candle instead.

It is easily understandable that a man needs a partner more than a woman. A woman is born with more abilities than man, she can do the outdoor and financial stuff and she can do the indoor home stuff, take care of kids at the same time while most men struggle to do so. Also, easy for a woman to live alone happily without a man while its really hard for men naturally. Wife is a man's family, family ain't only with kids. Kids are an addition to an already established family. If both partners decide not to have kids, then it is totally understandable.
