Kelpies are actually quite scary...

For anyone who don't know..Kelpie attract people and if a person ride it..It will go into the water (river or ocean) and the kelpie will eat that person ...its just myth story :p

From what I know the legend says that a boy and his friends came to the loch and sawa beautiful horse it had beckoned them onto it's back and the boy had touched the horse's nose. He cut off his own hand as it became stuck and he watched his friends drown and get eaten by the kelpie. That's the main legend parents told their children to ward them from the waters.

So a RANDOM HORSE CAME OUT OF NO WHERE AND THEIR LIKE YAY HORSE RIDING NOT EVEN THINKING OF WHERE IT CAME FROM.?!? CRAZY HORSE MAANN

When i was 11 and started writing short stories, i had a lot of horses in them. Ghost horses, water horses, you name it.

They also say when the kelpies are in human form their hair always has seaweed in it showing they are indeed kelpie in disguise

For anyone who is is interested, this is from a 1997 series called Creatures Fantastic, and this particular episode is called Creatures of the Deep.

A Kelpie will make you lose sense of your mind untill it drag you off into the depth where you will drown and it watches in Glee as you slowly suffocate gasping and clawing for air and watches as yoh struggle untill you lose strength and look at it and see it twisted face In your final moments of despair

'His image faded from the picture almost like the Kelpie had taken his soul.' So I guess all those people who used to freak out about having their photo taken because they believed it took their soul were kinda right.

I traveled to Galveston a few years ago. On me and my familys final day we thought we should go down to the gulf. A chilly day was upon us as well. Very few were at the beach and we found ourselves just running around in our clothes. Not swimsuits. My mom had wanted to ride a horse on the beach but we had too little as we would leave right after we left the beach. I do recall some riders riding horses down the beach. I think both were female. Which kelpies can take form of women. I dont believe any of them were kelpies but its crazy how our day was very similar to this one just we never got on a horse. I know kelpies dont usually appear there by the way. I just wanted to share this.

But, but I love horses.

And also kelpies have sticky bodies, they transfer into beautiful horses, they trick you into riding them, as you stick on them and can't get up, they drag you under water and drown you

In most legends, the Kelpie is a white or blue like the sky horse with red eyes. It attracts people to rode it and after, they got stuck to its back : its skin is like glue or like oose, revealing its true form. Sometimes a black horse with a fish tail or a scrawny horse with fangs. If it got you, you're doomed and it will pull you in water to drown you and eat you. A legend says one boy escaped from a kelpie : he pats the horse but got stuck so he cut his hand off with a knife before the Kelpie throw itself into the water.

If you dont know the kelpie is a mythical creature that is near lakes and such in Scotland and if you ride it you will automatically get stuck on the horse you cannot remove your hands and once you do ride it the kelpie will bring you too the water where it will attempt drown you and once it does it will eat your remains.There was also a rumor saying that a boy encountered the kelpie and was about to drown him the boy chewed off his fingers and got off the horse.

I actually went to Scotland recently and I got to hear the story of the kelpies I even have a picture of the towering two horse heads!!🤪🤪

Though I've never heard of a kelpie as a fairy spirit they were horse like looking creatures that would beckon travelors onto their backs. Once on their backs their skins would become adhesive and they would dive to the bottoms of the ocean, drown their victims and eat the humans on their backs. Sometimes the kelpies are seen as beautiful women. It was made a myth in scotland/england to ward off children from the loch or the oceans.

That’s creepy. It makes me wanna say good thing Beauty is in the eye of the Beholder. Still, I think I would try to avoid hopping onto a horse near a body of water to be safe. Hopefully, a kelpie would be like a normal horse and not really want anything to do with me.

@Kelpiehorsegirl95 both are of the fey group and are water spirit horse creatures, but also have differances: kelpies mainly live in freshwater while Each Uisge live in Salt water. Both are bad, and can be distinguished with manes that always soaking wet. however with a Uisge add seaweed to the soaked mane.both trick humans into mountin(riding)them and then drown and eat their foolish victims. stories also spoke of just touching the horse long enough for it's skin to trap you to drown u too.

I know there might be no such thing, but the video shows the fact that the horse is wearing in the water and drives rides into the waves, and the father is gone, so I believed the myth is real
