The screen is larger and of higher quality. Moreover, I have a PS5 and a new generation super PC, but this is a completely different experience.

As always, a great review! A beautiful, powerful laptop and everything would be fine, but the temperature is high and in a year it will be necessary to do undervolting (or better right away).
the temps are more than fine components' operating ranges are up to 95°C, plus it's also a pre-production unit with non final firmware that's why other reviewers have specifically been told not to show benchmark numbers as it's not representative of final performance, temps and noise, but also because of NDAs for AMD and Intel's new chips

@appletreegirlunboxing congrats on your new laptop If you want better temps and laptop fan dust cleaning longetivity I recommend iets gt 626 or iets gt500 that way you can even better temps and the cost of fan noise but both do amazing job totally recommend for everyone 👍

So many changes for the better happened w this laptop but what I didn't like is the decrease in watts for the G14 and the unboxing experience. The opening of the old box which has a "lifting effect" on the laptop was by far one of the most enjoyable of any laptop unboxing😭

Rtx 4050-4070 has a GPU power limit of 100w.
this is an engineering model which means the boxes aren't final. We will see once the retail model is launched next month

The fps seems to fluctuate a lot, 10-20fps drops are okay but i saw pubg dropping 40fps when running in forests and in fights. I'm guessing u ran the games on balanced profile so fan noise was moderately low. Ig this is a sacrifice they had to make to make it so sleek , ngl i would love it if they added some of the thickness back so that ram is upgradable.
The title is misleading since the one that is shown in the video is the 4060 configuration not the 4090. That aside i really envy you, my dream laptop fosho also don't know how you are able to show benchmark results since other tech reviewers can't, either way good video 👍👍

But the price is not that affordable for a guy who starts his life in foreign country from the scratch due to moving because of the war🤦 I was pretty okay with my 7 years old ThinkPad l380 with i5, doing some 3d modeling, calculations and preparing gcode for CNC machining, but recently I started to work for a furniture start-up and their designs make my PC creepy laggy due to complex geometry...

Is that model Intel U7 155h rtx 4060 equipped with OLED or LCD?
I thought the 2024 variants only came with OLED, so i'm surprised to see an IPS display. Is this a review unit? Because even the review units seem to come with OLED displays.
There are also IPS models on some countries.
Australia only has the IPS versions at the moment. We can pre-order OLED G14 models (50, 60, 70) but we can't get OLED G16 models at the moment, if at all

I know this video is less about the laptop and more about the cute girl unboxing it, but I just wanted to say these Zephyrus laptops get HOT. After 20 minutes your fingertips will be on fire. Small minimalist laptops are great for daily tasks, youtube videos, browsing;, but the heat displacement is terrible for heavy loads. I highly recommend full-size laptops like the TUF or Strix for gaming. They have larger bases with proper cooling.
We don’t even have thermals on this device, though - whether it be the three fan model or vapor chamber version

Last version still competes tho , better temps than this thing . This has no overclock head room while i overclocked the shit out of the 2023 g16 . Also the back looks ugly ngl 😂😂 rainbow reflections were way cooler than just some led strips

There seems to be only 4070 and 4090 versions in my country. Way too expensive. Australia got the cheap ones :) can’t order from There.
We also have no accessible OLED options outside of one $5k 4070 i9U model, from a retailer other than the main ASUS storefront

@@michaozga7825 The OLED panels on these ones, from my knowledge, have things and services in place to reduce the chance of OLED burn-in. As a result, I'd personally favour the OLED screen, since it's as durable and reliable as the IPS will be, and only $1-200 more or so
