He wouldve lost against Djokovic
@@Deanger777 djokovic didn't want to be there hard enough to do what was right. So he lost even without participating. Djokovic is a tennis champion, but a looser in life, like most liars
@@Deanger777 Reality is not made of "ifs"! You can only win against players who are there! So enjoy the 21!
The sensations you can get with this guy is what places him beyond the numbers, no matter any record or statistics... Love RAFA🇪🇸🇪🇸
Nadal was just lucky...Medvedev played badly that's all.
Medvedev usually plays like Novak, so make almost no mistakes but hits harder. This match, even though he won set one and two, I wasn't impressed by how he played. He looked vulnerable, made uncharacteristic errors and his volleys were abysmal. Well done to Rafa but I felt he could beat Daniil if he (Daniil) kept playing like that.
@@22JeLo22 OK, just give it a go, and play tennis for more than 5 hours at a high level and tell me if you are still alive, or in the hospital.. Both played to the limit of their strength. Both are great champions.. Lucky is not the word..

My legs were shaking. I was losing my senses. Had to stop with any chores and go down on my knees to pray for a win. He made us proud. Feelings can't describe. He's the 🐐. A true champion
Rafael Nadal what a phenomenon! 35 years of age and coming back like after a six month lay off to become the most successful GS champion in men's tennis and a true gentleman too. Huge credit and praise to Daniil Medvedev, who came so close and deserved so much better than he got from (some) of this terrible AO crowd throughout this tournament. Daniil will win more GS titles, no doubt, hopefully in front of crowds that appreciate the great player that he is.
Jak Novak będzie robił takie manewry to czy Rafa daleko mu nie odjedzie ? pytanie retoryczne ..

@@RockyBilbao21811 you are a fool that does not recognise a great sportsman when you see one
You are right, Medwedew became a serious and strong player, but when you look backwards he was not respectful with the public. I'ts good that he changed his behavure and I'm shure he will be the next nr 1. The marriage helped him a lot to become sympatic. Anyhow people prefer him now on Djokovic. ( And so do I ) Today Nadal was winning and he respects as well Medvedew. But as long Nadal is playing I'm his fan, since he was 18 years old.

As a djokovic fan gotta say this mans fighting spirit is crazy out of this world. Deserves the title but sad i wished it could have been djokovic vs nadal would have been legendary.

I am proud i watching and support Rafa all his career from the beginning when he won his 1st RG 2005 and to this legendary 21st victory.
Odds were 67% for Medvedev at the beginning, and they still were 66% after the 4th set?? Y'all underestimated Nadal, huge comeback.

@@chuvaam I hope you get well soon and I can confirm that even I was doing that 😂😂
Danii played crap in the third set, looks like he forgot how to play tennis on hard court, his shot selection was terrible, and he was putting balls in the middle of the court, for Rafa to hit passing shots, also those drop shots were far too predictable, he lost it mentally, and gave Rafa hope, after losing that third set, well God really must have hated him, for something he did wrong, maybe he should consider doing repentance, for whatever sin he did, to have his heart ripped out.
@@chuvaam haha....yeah...my heart beats so fast crazily as well especially in the 5th set .BTW get well soon

This guy is unbelievable. Coming from two sets to love down. He is incredible! Congrats Rafa!
Bravo Nadal!!! En España estamos orgullosos de ti. Eres el mejor.
Im the deepest Nadal fan around. Im spanish, ive been following and supporting him from the very beggining. I chilled when he broke Roger in 08 and Aus 09. I quited a bit from tennis when he had his first major injury during 2013-2015. I was delighted with the comeback of 2017. And I said to myself that everything was over when he lost RG2021. And I was quite happy with his career. I mean, one of the best thing that ive learned watching Rafa´s matches is that you enjoy victory and you learn from defeat. To be better. In this tournament I remember as it was yesterday that backhand against Novak in 2012´s final with 4-2 in the 5th and advantage for Rafa. I remember the back injury against Wawrinka in 2014. The great final and Roger´s comeback in 2017. The unbelievable run to the final in 2019 and then he was destroyed by Novak. Everything fine. Sometimes you win. Sometimes you loses. I expected just good sensations from his foot in AUS2022. And watching him in QF to me was a victory. A huge one. "I think he could win in RG one more time I guess". But then he defeats Shapo. He defeats Berretini. "Maybe he is in better form than I expexcted. Maybe he is the favourite to win RG, but there is no way to defeat Medvedev. This guy knows how to defeat him. How to defeat Novak in a GS final.". And the first two sets are pointing to that. And I was fine. Because I think Rafa has been rewarded with many success in his career. Much more than almost anyone else. And then he teaches me a lesson of life. Not a good match. Not just a good couple of shots. He shows the entire world that, no matter how hard you get hit, the most important thing is to recover and keep fighting. Keep fighting until the end. To me, probably Novak will end with more GS. I think he has better chances. But Rafa just proved 2 hours ago that he is the best competitive guy in sports history. Better than anyone else. Has he got talent? In every inch of his skin. But his mind is above everything that keeps him winning things that he shouldnt have won. He is the best competitor of all time. On any sport. Love every bit of this ride. Everything that comes from here to the end will be a gift. What a story this is.
You are way too high on your emptions. He is never the greatest competitor of all time. That would be a shame for all the other great athletes in other sports. First of all, he is only one of three GOATS in tennis. You can never say who is the best in tennis, all three are so close. And second, you can not compare tennis with other sports. Some sports are way more intensive than tennis. A marathon or a Tour de France, an Ironman for example are way more intense than a tennis match. You can not even compare that. Nadal had so many breaks and sweated all the time during the final. In a marathon or an Ironman Nadal Could NEVER compete. NEVER. So be aware of your words.
In my opinion, Rafa is not the best tennis player in history. He's the best athlete in history, inside the tennis court and much more outside. What a great example for the youth!
Congrats, reminds me of Federer 2017!
The legendary, relentless: heart, tenacity and intensity of the great Nadal, on display. Nadal was not even 100% physically, for the AO 2022.
