The INSANE Story of KFC / Why KFC Sued Colonel Sanders: KFC's REAL Secrets / Why KFC Hates Colonel Sanders / Why Colonel Sanders Hates KFC:
The story of KFC - a look through KFC's history, including how Colonel Sanders built KFC, the rise of KFC, and the business & finance side of KFC too. The history of KFC is pretty crazy, as it starts out as an inspiring underdog business success story, as Colonel Sanders starts from nothing to then selling chicken out of a gas station to then becoming a millionaire! Harland Sanders ends up building a giant global franchise in his late 60's. KFC is clearly an extremely successful company that makes a huge amount of money through its franchises today - but the KFC story takes a twist when Colonel Sanders sells his company, as KFC then sue their own founder, and Colonel Sanders sues KFC (the company he created), demanding millions of dollars in compensation. In this MagnatesMedia KFC documentary we'll look through the KFC success story and the truth behind this company / fast food empire! Colonel Harland Sander's story is fascinating, so I hope you enjoy this business mini-movie about KFC (Kentucky Fried Chicken).

The only reason we hear about young people becoming successful so often is precisely because it is NOT the norm. Pick up your feet, make a plan, be willing to adapt and change, and you’ll hit the mark, friend. Don’t compare yourself to anyone else. Just do you.

    @BabaMakhanya@BabaMakhanya Жыл бұрын
    • Exciting? It sounds like a grueling, disastrous, terrible life - up until he began seeing success very late in life. Life was extremely rough for so many in his era, especially if you only had one parent or both parents died. There was no protection either for child abuse, so even if kids were fortunate enough to live in a household with financial security, they still could be living a life of hell and the state wouldn’t do a thing about it. Not only were the children made to work when living in poverty, but then to miss out on getting an education to boot really limited one’s opportunities in life. Sanders suffered a lot because of this. 99.9% of people in his position in life (where they lacked a healthy/secure/loving/educated foundation) would just end up as a drunkard wandering hobo, and/or living a life of crime, and die an early meaningless death with no one to mourn them. Sanders couldn’t hold down any of his crappy jobs for the life of him, thus he couldn’t successfully provide for his family by the time he somehow managed to pull off snagging a wife/making a family, and damn near went to prison because it sounds like he was a bit of an irrational hothead for threatening to shoot someone just because they had painted over his signage. He was a tough sob though, and instead of offing himself early on, like way too many would do in today’s much softer times. I think his life was tragic, not exciting, until his gas station cookin’ days started. That’s all.

You know Harland is a legend when his statues are treated with respect in Japan, and KFC is considered a Christmas tradition there too. If you can dream it, you can do it! And it's never too late to take a step forward. While he served in Cuba, he didn't serve to help Cuba against the Spanish, but rather during the second time the US occupied Cuba from 1906 to 1909. So because Colonel Sanders served as a wagoner during the occupation, he was awarded the Cuban Pacification Medal

Also in SE Asia KFC is open for breakfast 😋 And McDonald's also sells fried chicken all day long. Yes chicken is a staple food in Asia.

Your team's use of AE graphics and titles and editing WOW!!... so well executed and your presentations are very slick. This is by FAR one of your best productions that I have watched, AND I'm not judging, bit not using movie clips and repeat shots to illustrate a point (as in some of your other great presentations) is a show of your professionalism. Well Done and I will keep watching. Ps. Not criticism, just honest comment from someone who has been in the pro video industry for 35+years. Well done mate!!

  • Just watched the McDonald's story. And I remember how most were thinner then, and nowhere near as many obese people. Fast food is a big part, but people worked harder then. They had their job. Then, in my family, we had big gardens to work. Mom canning. We always had a hog and a calf to raise for eaten. I left the house in the morning, running WFO till supper often. 6 pm every day. Always as a family, period. We used firewood for heat, so we went one day a week to cut a truckload, and I split wood after school, with an ax and maul. All 10 year old, 70lbs of me. I used a chainsaw while dad supervised. Loved it, still do. 60 years, 150 lbs, of broke down me. But, we only ate out once a week usually. Friday night. I was not a McDonald's kid. We loved Kentucky Fried Chicken and the Krystal. Sometimes, we ate at the Western Sizzler. Not often. Breakfast only at Shoneys on Sundays, once a month. Mom cooked our breakfast on Sunday. I ate cereal and a grapefruitShoneys Shoneys before school. But blaming obesity on McDonald's, or any fast food is ridiculous. Gluteny,, the Bible warns us. I blame obesity today on junk food, like candy, snacks, chips, constantly. We didn't drink sodas everyday. We drank water, and I got Kool-aid to keep me alive. I only weighed 45 lbs at 8. And wide open. No fat to hold me down. So put down yhe junk, stop the 6 pack of soda a day, throw away video games. We sat as a family fir TV every Saturday. Hee-Haw. Mom watched Carson after it was quite. And Katerina, Burt Sugarmans Midnight power hour, the SNL. Do it's nit just the fast food. It's living on it, and laziness

  • When I was a kid I grew up in America and ate a lot of KFC since I loved chicken and that chicken was the best I had tasted. I've since moved back to my country of birth, Norway, and now live here. Coming back I saw several American fast food chains and restaurants like Burger King, McDonald's, TGIF, Dominos Pizza. But not one single KFC. There was KFC in Sweden and Denmark who also had McDonald's and Burger King, but no KFC in Norway. A lot of Norwegians that live close to the border of Sweden like I do, drive over to Sweden to grocery shopping since food in Sweden is like half price than what us Norwegians pay. So in the little shopping mall about a 2 hour drive from my house where the grocery store I shop at there is a McDonald's, Burger King and thankfully a KFC. So every time I go to Sweden to do my grocery shopping, I always get my KFC when my shopping is done. I've asked why KFC is not in Norway and the response I got was because KFC abuses their chickens and Norway is completely against animal cruelty. I can understand that, but is it really the truth that KFC abuses their chicken? I don't think KFC will admit to that if they were, but if that's the truth, then it's just surprising that there is KFC in Sweden and Denmark. But I wish that they would get KFC here in Norway. It would be a massive hit!
