With modern demands changing, the car industry has had to adapt. Whilst the MINI Countryman may be bigger than your traditional MINI, they still showcase the traits we know and love.
The latest generation is full of quirks, technology and practicality, as well as a great driving experience!

I met two of them today on the road. And from some angles it looks like MINI Range Rover sport :D Definitely looking better than in the pictures
Luckily managed to buy one of the last 2023/23 models that retains some of the spirit of the re-introduced BMW car of 2001. Unfortunately the new one doesn't inspire at all, shame.
Great video Bex! 🎉
Thank you!! 😁
Awesome video... Very informative 👍
Glad you liked it
I've had a short drive few years ago in one but I really do love the new screen it looks pretty good
The new screen is a huge upgrade!
For me there is only one Mini “the classic Mini” pre BMW days. I used to own one before it rotted away! 😂 Calling todays cars Minis is a bit like today calling a Lotus Electre a Lotus!! 😅, that bears no resemblance whatsoever to the original design concepts and ethos of Colin Chapman. They may be great cars (or a tank in the case of the Electre!) in their own right but they ain’t what the badge originally stood for.
I can see your point of view, but times do change and companies have to adapt otherwise they face the potential of going bust. Lotus is a keen example with the Chinese investment. You saw it with cars over the years as technology advances and demands change, the classic MINI is very different to the cars 20 years before it.
@@DrivingBexyep - even Volkswagen had to progress beyond the “Bug”. Yet VW’s still maintain a certain feel to them.
In love with this car. when it comes to the JCW its hard to pass it up at that price point with the level 2. You really get a fantastic value for money. However, the chinese are pumping out some tantalizing automobiles themselves that just cannot be ignored we'll just have to wait and see how long they last.
The Countryman is arguably the most practical of the current MIni range. I might be wrong but residuals are not as strong on this model compared to the rest of the MIni range and that makes it a used buyers dream. I considered a new one about 5 years ago but at the time it was not really a value proposition compared to other options. The new version (used) may be worth a look in the future though. A great review though and thanks for sharing.
You’re welcome!
Bella!
the top of the range JCW starts from £41,500, as a comparison the BMW X1 starts from £33500
I already miss the mini now. What have they don’t with the design 😭💔
The dash material looks good, and doesn't appear to reflect sunlight as much as plastic and leather dashes which is fantastic. I wonder how hard wearing this material is in the long term, would it disintegrate over time in the sun.
It is a really premium feel as well as stunning to look at
You're looking absolutely gorgeous, Bex (and those Minis look nice, too!). ❤
If it’s too big buy one of the smaller models in the Mini brand?
JCW 😍😍
What a car
Count Ryman .
I’ll keep my existing countryman thanks 🤮 Before I’m forced to change manufacturer - massive price increase as well 🤦♂️
Is it a rebadged suzuki 🤔
OMG, that fabric interior will be a nightmare to keep clean..
Looks like a range rover evoque
Not liking the headlamps on this, as with previous generations of this model, they don’t look right and give the car a sad face.
Oh… its like me then
Do they still have those laughable Union Jack brake lights from a car made by German’s 😂
You can actually choose your lights 🤭
Yes but they are changeable in the software
@@RobLevers-gj1djyes, you choose which one you want out of the three
When's a mini not a mini? Answer when it's made outside the UK and when it's huge outside but not particularily space efficient. Better cars for less money available.
It’s quite spacious inside actually. But exterior size-wise it’s approaching a 2009 Honda CRV. It is now a compact crossover instead of subcompact. MINI is making a new subcompact crossover called Aceman.
Too many hand signals sorry 😞
Nope, NOT a Mini! If you want more space, buy a different car! Remember, for those who found the Mini too small, could buy the Maxi as a family car. Ridiculous.
looks like a chinese knock off - less mini more kia
🤮🤮🤮🤮
Ugly car... no longer Mini.
