Xpeng has showcased what they believe to be the future of flying cars here in Las Vegas!
Sergi checked out the AeroHT, a luxury two-person eVTOL they hope will take to the skies very soon.

  • Only in China. Being a westerner, to me there seems to be two "Chinas" in the world: one is the real China, full of vitality and constantly progressing despite various obstacles; the other is the "virtual China" in the Western media, always portrayed as a failure, a loser, plagued by crises, and on the verge of collapse. The flying Xpeng car is an example of the real China.

    • The United States invented aerocars in 1946, and perfected it in 1949. Robert Edison Fulton Jr also designed one several decades ago. England tested them long ago.   • Air Taxi is already flying between Shenzhen and Zhuhai, fully autonomous. The distance is like from San Franciso to Sacramento, New York to Philadelphia, Toronto to Niagara Falls.

You drive it to an airfield, take off, land at the destination airfield, and drive away. There will be no taking off or landing on roads

  • That modular truck flying car thing would be good for researchers. They can drive to the area and then fly to the research spot. It's really going to come down to battery life as to how useful it will be.
