@@Bahamutt. by just a small amount. A really big male leopard will not back down to even the biggest female hyena. Hyenas know that a very large male leopard can do damage. But a smaller female or juvenile leopard can be chased off by a single hyena.

Hyenas are more than a match for all cats from Leopards downwards. Only lions, tigers and possibly big jaguars (although not found in hyenas' natural habitat) would be able to dominate them.

Just the confidence and boldness of the hyena is stunning . No hesitation just runs right at the leopard and the leopard can do absolutely nothing . You notice the leopard wouldn’t even try to go for the neck of the hyena because they’re too weak to kill it . The hyena with one bite or rip and the leopard is crippled then torn apart .

Running to avoid injury vs 2 hyenas does not mean 1 v 1 if that Leopard really wanted to fight for real it would not win in a 1 on 1. People think hyenas are gods of leopards they aren't leopards are just smart they know when to run and when to fight.
