  • It's nice that you added the info about cost and time at the end. People, myself included, often underestimate the effort that goes into these restaurations. Great work!

    • I was the one who suggested this a couple videos back and you replied saying you'd try it out and I'm happy to see it! Honestly the materials cost all in was less than I expected. And it makes me appreciate your content even more knowing it took 3 weeks for us to enjoy 15 minutes of viewing. Thanks for another fun project, excited as always to see what's on your table next!

  • This was a great restoration. The only thing that I would suggest doing differently is to make a recess for the fuse and speed switch so that this could sit or hang flat against a wall. Also that is a very sweet little spot welder you have. Now to print yourself some non conductive tongs to hold the piece you are welding.

  • I am surprised by how much it cost only because the restoration project looked so good I thought man this must sell for a lot so it's probably expensive to restore and I wasn't far off I guessed 300 bucks to restore maybe it's like a 500 dollar or more sign 🙂 very beautiful end result though, I am like I would love one of these but I am sure it's far out of my budget ha ha it's stunning :) I am working on building a solarium for my mom and my niece who love to garden and was thinking of making a cafe and all that and this sign would just be so cool to use.

The inclusion of costs at the end is a real winner. Especially when you consider people might come back to watch this 50 years from now. :)
