  • that 5031 story is adorable ahahah I admit - at first I thought this channel was just another thing kinda capitalizing off of the popularity of the SCP foundation's stories for profit, but I decided to give it a shot when I saw a few of these appearing in my feed. I was very surprised at how much quality and care goes into the animation, design, and voiceover work to tell these stories in a way more accessible to those who may not desire to get lost in the archives as many have in the past. Excellent work team! Very very cool stuff

  • Poor SCP-5031 was a stress eater lol. I can relate. Side notes: In the story, 5031 increased screaming when he accidentally killed the chicken. He was upset he had done that. One of the reasons the poor guy was so violent is because he is a being that had been thrown in a steel box and completely ignored for 10 years, screaming the whole time. The original researchers believed he was evil and non-sentient based solely on his looks. 5031 was terrified of any human that entered his cage because the last time he ran into one, he ended up in solitary confinement for a decade. In my opinion, he could possibly be the toddler version of his species. Maybe they live 500 years and a 20-year-old is practically a baby, like how “The Child” is a (incredibly powerful) baby but is actually 50 years old.

    • Ummm he was hunting and killing people before he was captured. Sure, being locked in the cage freaked him out but it wasn't the reason he was violent. He was violent because he was a hyper dangerous wild animal with strong anxiety that liked to eat (before being civilised).

      @retsaMinnavoiG@retsaMinnavoiG8 күн бұрын
    • @@retsaMinnavoiG He was terrified, not “hunting and killing” for fun; ffs, he started to cry when he accidentally killed a chicken when trying to _play._ He just needed love and attention, as shown by the actual SCP file. He is not an animal so shouldn’t be compared to one. He is a sentient and sapient creature, on par with a human. I feel like you missed that the _whole_ point is that he is *NOT* another murder machine but simply misunderstood. That’s literally the core meaning of his story.

Wouldn't that Dr. Bright have a lot of information and answers for the team and the prime universe's SCP Foundation about what happened?

Some of the sections had such difference in decibel output between them that it actually produced some jumpscares, as I had to raise my volume a lot for some sections to be clearly audible, then the next section almost blows my speakers out :P

He loves cooking and is super creative, and I assume that he was probably overjoyed to be given the task of creating a meal and performing for the Foundation staff (who'd get to enjoy his cooking and music) Also, why didn't they just use 682 to contain 173? The only one in this list that they actively try to destroy is 682, and way too many things can go wrong during so many moments. And even if it does make it to the sun, what if it survives ?
