  • What is stated correct is the price point ia high, a middle class child would never buy such journals or anything, it would be easier to buy books, and diaries, journals, from already established brands like sundaram and such but what sharks missed here is that gen z do write a lot, they have pivoted to journaling, creativity, writing, and lots of teen adults do take therapies where journaling is commonly recommended. Also, Aman is such a joker. Two of the biggest bookshop of Khan Market still exist in all its glory. Faqir Chand is still the popular spot and Bahri Sons has spread the business all the way to Kolkata and various corners of Delhi. I believe under the disguise of the digitalization the "bro" don't wanna accept the fact.

Even magazines like "Chandamama", "Nandan", "Nanhe Samrat", "Balhans" etc because nowadays children like to watch things in Mobile rather than reading such magazines! Just board a train or bus to see the difference. Earlier it used to be magazines in Children's hands nowadays all have mobiles. Even there are not many bookstands with children magazines on railway and bus stations. They say that there are no buyers!!! Wish...the trend of children magazines could be there once again😢

The product is niche and there are lot of competitors, since the price is kept high, they will be able to target only high middle class and rich people who can afford it making the market size too low and non-investable.
