Two people can be different from each other. Both can have different points of view towards life and generally as well. Ashneer said a very good thing in first season, if someone is standing there on that platform then there is someone who is not there. So respect that opportunity and don't pitch garbage there. If this product worked, then his CAC should have been less. That's how medical products work. If something works then the word of mouth is it's marketing.

Anupam is sharp. Over several episodes I've figured out Anupam is the quickest to understand the product, the candidates, the team, the market and financials. He is not so popular with other sharks because he's a little too blunt at times. Second would be Peyush (lenskart) then Vineeta and others. Zomato guy have only seen him twice.

10:07 Deepinder’s analysis is completely flawed..It is not necessary that if I quit smoking, my 5 other friends who smoke also will quit along with me. This is totally dependent upon their intent to smoke Plus, even if any person within the 5 friends decide to quit, it can happen a month later, a year later or even further!
His reasoning was on the right track, if the product really worked, just word of mouth would have skyrocketed the sales. This is clearly a bs 'medicine' which doesn't work, just like countless other ayurvedic medicines claiming to claim disorders. I am a bit disappointed that Anupam chose to give it a chance.
Correct, But everybody is missing one Logical point here. Why are you seeing as 20K should multiply, there is a good possibility that it's a beginning stage of multiplying where 5K grew to 20K. Keeping in mind that, the business is just few years old and the result take around 2 months. Deepu is wrong here. And for that reason 'I am out'
Really though? Say the 20k people are able to afford the medication and I'll assume that 10k of those have friends with money enough to buy it easily considering that people most of the time befriend people of the same status. Granted everybody won't be able to quit smoking but they will definitely buy it in impulse of leaving smoking. Buying in impulse and actually quitting are different and sales show impulse buying. So while not 100% dependable deepinders arguement was quite logical to say the least

The problem i see with the sharks that, they start thinking of this product as some kind of magic, it still requires a lot of effort from the side of the smokers to leave smoking but sharks think of this thing like a drug, which starts showing effects right off the bat.

The real shark with good investing acumen is anupam. The man knows how to take calculated risks and place bets. Most of the sharks follow herd mentality. If one shark has a strong opinion on a founder then often others Sharks follow the same suit don't invest in the business. But Anupam mittal is different. He doesn't follow the herd mentality and invest on his own thinking.
Deepinder wants a world where there shouldn't be a single corner for a minute mistake and this is actually impossible.

Overacting by Deepinder Goyal, didn't like his attitude at all, always tries to be oversmart and run down the founders.
Not sure what Deepinder is smoking, but he definitely ain't able to quit and come down to earth.
In the first season Namita Mam used to say that isme meri expertise nhi hai then people criticised her for that dialoge. Now in 2nd and 3rd season she always finds some irrelevant reason just to say that 'I am out' . At the end she will definitely say i am out by giving some irrelevant reason. I hope Producers give more episodes to Ronni, ritesh,peyush too etc who explain each and everything like anupam before giving any verditct. Amit Jain too is a knowledgeable guy. All other judges should be rotated except Anupam.

Also Namita's, she runs a pharma company she has hundreds of products that work fine still she has to do marketing via incentivising doctors.
Namita is in Parma sector but still deepinder asked the right questions. Not saying his approach / way of communicating was right, but the questions were. This is not the first time either. I remember once when Anupam and some other judge asked all the right questions but Namita bagged the deal 🤦🏻♂️

Deepinder should first do a survey of his own employees to understand how many of them wants to quit or can quit smoking. Gursit has taken an initiative to make people quit smoking which is one of the biggest addictions of the world and yet rather than appreciating he is humiliating him. Even if 1% of the people of the smoking populatiom quit smoking using smotect, that would be a huge impact.

My first thought about this product was that it qualifies under MLM Scheme. Yes this product has a market, Yes it has proven success. However, this is really an alternative not a concrete solution to smoking. I will have to agree with Deepinder that 95% success rate is over exaggerated. Furthermore, if I use this product and this product proves beneficial then i will speak of the product in my friends. My friends may ask to try this product and this product will experience an exponential sale.

I had positive/neutral views of Deepindeer until this video came out. Still respect he’s made massive companies but bro is doglapan max. 1) Owns massive companies and boasts about them but others can’t. 2) Hypothetical assumptions about the guy’s customer survey that he hasn’t seen only to undermine them 3) questions the persons dedication when he said he researched the product for 8 years before starting it and has zero research.
