So you have to use ski boots for this machine? Which means you probably have to be an actual skier, lol.

When under proper training, I found the machine able to strength your core muscles. 1. The left and right weight shift is generated by your leg pushing downward against the springs. 2. The upper body from hip to shoulder shall keep steady as far as possible. Then good upper body seperation can be made during weight shifting. Since I have not coaching and instructor, I am unable to extract the most of the machine (the techique I learn and apply on this "pro ski simulator" is learning from an more advanced "skytech ski simulator" under proper ski instructor coaching. 3. Hip joint able to train for more flexing / piloting 4. Balancing skills - no much...

Time 3:00 What is the purpose for putting your hand and touching your hip at outside ski during turing? I remember this drill in ski training, but already forgot its purpose. Would someone give advice for the objective of such drill.

Since you cant rotate the boots, this will screw up muscle memory for skiing. Just saying

Looks like it would be good for strength/endurance during the off season. It doesn't give the feedback you get on snow, so it probably doesn't mess up muscle memory that bad.

Actually your edge can be rotated slightly, but it is not exactly as it performed on real snow surface (i.e. less edge angle). I cannot describe the exact difference by words, you must try by the machine yourself. The machine mainly for core muscle strengthen at home during pre ski season!!! Wthout proper instruction or coaching, it may screw up muscle memory is true (hip rotation is too much as told by my instructor). Perhaps re-train on real snow for few session then muscle memory can be easily rectified.
