  • I would like to thank you young man. I have been dealing with cancer since 2019 and had to quit working. My grandkids introduced me to KZhead and since then I have found your channel among others. It is so enjoyable to watch your adventures. Spend as much time with that beautiful woman of yours. Beach and general ocean fishing was a lot of fun in my life.

    • Hi Jim, Your not alone. At 61 the Surgeon saw my FL MRI and said to come on up to NYU Hospital in Manhattan. They have a Special EOS X-Ray Test to see how bad my Scoliosis is. Who has ever heard of a 61 year old guy coming down with Scoliosis??? Pain Everyday and 99% of my fishing is done on KZhead also. Mama has a video where he takes a boat out and his friend said, get on my boat. They went to a small jetty and just slayed the Pompanos. Matt seems like a great guy and knows his fishing. Made me smile when I saw that his wife came along on this trip. She must be a strong loving woman to let Matt Follow His Dream. Cheers to Matts wife.

  • @Bama Beach Bum + There's nothing like hitting a school of nice sized fish first thing in the morning. For a fresh water species of Trout that IMHO fight as hard if not harder as Sea Trout. When I was living in the Eastern Sierras (Mammoth Lake) near Crowley Lake in early 80's, we would catch Kamloop Trout (Sub-species of a Rainbow) with an average size of 18-20 inches (some bigger) and thick. Those were some line pullers and jumpers for sure!! Watching your video brought back memories of my older brother and I hitting a school of nice fish the first place we hit some mornings (one of our honey holes) where almost every cast was a hit or strike and a fish. Like you we also practiced Catch and release which I think kept our "Honey Holes" producing nice fish where other areas were slowing. Just keep what you're going to eat that night or many if not most of the times you'll end up throwing what you caught 2 months ago away from all the freezer burn. smh... Here's To Tight Lines and Calm Waters!! ;)

    • @@adbtw7211 I grew up catching them and mostly releasing them. They stink, they're mushy, and I don't like them much either. I prefer snook, redfish, flounder, snapper, sheepshead, tripletail, cobia, anything but trout. And trout don't fight much either. To me they're bycatch.
