Jesus man I did not even understand what you are saying not mention what you do. Could at least put the toll list I need ?
Shop vac is way faster😂
Why was there water in the bowl if you flushed and removed the supply line??
🙏🏾
Use a sponge and drain out the rest of water that you can’t get out with the bottle
Mind blowing 🎉
when you knowYou know you know
Where can I find the pick up stick you used? I need one to help me replace the wax ring on my toil on line but can’t find one.
Very good
Wish I had friend like you
Keep doing these tips
I find a mop and bucket works🤔
Just changed the wax ring on mine yesterday and liquilock works great. $3 and it saves you a little mess. Now I just need that pick-up stick. Anyone know what that thing is?
Very cool…… thing you learn from YT
That’s waste of money 💰 Tittle should be how to remove a toilet. From the. Dumb. To the dumbs
Awesome!
Liquid lock, and a pickup stick - I did learn something new!
Same here! I love ingenuity.
Liquid Lock…. Hmmmm
Great tip, used to be very messy
NICE MAN!!!!
Thank you 🙏🏼
Why don’t you just use a shop vac like we do when we change the toilet out people are always trying to sell you some crap
That's wot my Milwaukee M18 hoover is for
I pour the yellow water all thru the house.....Then I mop it... 😂 LOL
Can you put lipstick on the toilet too?
Does Home Depot sell that Pick up stick?
I got mine from supplyhouse.com 👍🏼🔥
@@HomeRepairTutor As a certified master toilet mechanic I endorse this product. 🚽🪠
Or siphon it out and shove a rag down the pipe without added costs. Don't be afraid to get dirty. I install floors and install bathroom floors every day of the week. All these contractors wearing rubber gloves and designer clothes and shit aren't true contractors........ your hands are supposed to get dirty. Just don't eat your lunch before washing your hands.
I am a master toilet mechanic. People tell me I don't look, talk, act or smell like a plumber. I tell them thank you. 😅 🪠
Plumbers get paid because people don’t want to get dirty
Waste of money. I bag the toilet, stick a Gatorade bottle to plug the hole and use the lip of the bowl to lift it. Also, if you dump a bucket of water into the bowl after you flush it, you are left with far less water in the bowl. You can put a small bucket under the water connection and unthread the float valve to fully drain the tank.
I just vacuum the tank and bowl.
@@waterheaterservices that works too.
Turn the water off and flush , no water left !
What there's a dump in the bowl? I'm from Pakistan
Just stuff a rag into the waste line. The cover is a waste of money ! And shop vac the water out of the toilet before removing. Grab the toilet buy the seat rim without a glove. Just man up !
Lol
U shud wear glove tho u dont want any skin disease
The sewer gas cover impresses residential service customers, looks more professional than my McDonald's coffee cup. The carry stick is helpful for those of us with tired, old backs from years of being a master toilet mechanic.
Shop vac duh
Gadgets and gizmos aplenty, whosits and whatsits galore, you want thingamabobs? He's got 20....
Oh man just in time. I need to remove 3 toilets in my house. Thanks
🙌🏼🔥🙌🏼
Clean af son
🙏🏼
Needed that pick up stick!
This was like a commercial for stuff an actual plumber would more than likely never use… just saying..
True, but the carry stick is helpful for us old toilet technicians with bad backs, and the drain cover pleases plumbing service customers. Water always gets vacuumed.
I wonder how much Liquilock costs compared to a package of JELLO?
Definitely not jello. But I’m pretty sure it’s the same stuff they use in diapers nowadays. If it is, all you’d need to do is add salt and it’d reliquify
Just shove a tag in it
A trash bag would of worked the same as the 40 dollar tool ya got there.
After you shut the water off and flush the toilet, dump a bucket of water down the bowl , that will pull most of the water out and wont leak all over the floor when you pull the toilet out.
A sponge works too. You could also be a man and pick the toilet up with your HANDS.
Us real men stir our coffee with the toilet auger. Ain't no Prius driving San Francisco sissy boys here 😜 🤠
This videos was awesome buddy. I can't count how many times I made a mess. I always drain tank then as much water as I can out of bowl. Then rock toilet back and fourth to get water out hut you never get it all out. Then I saw that pick up stick and said game changer. Thank you
Thank you 😊
Do you have a toilet install
Awesome
Another “I watched a KZhead video and now I’m a pro” those of us who truly do this work know this is all bs and most of us don’t use this crap.
Notice he only responds to the dumasses who seem impressed and he just ignores the competent responses like this.
Plunger, shop vac, paper towel. And 2 man hands
Flange cover ? U mean my empty coffee cup?
U too rich for me pal
Very practical Thank u
I use wet vacuum for water removal
I've been removing and resetting toilets every day since 2004 I've never seen the pickup stick thanks to you sir I'm getting one
I grab the base with both hands just below the tank , very easy.
Shop vac . Does better
Chemical waste generated. Could have used a garbage plastic bag to plug the drain. And a special tool to remove.. that all just costs more…
Top stuff🤟🏼
I watched this after removing 4 bathrooms in my house shit…
Pun intended?
I love these items. I use none of them but still love seeing how much easier they make things
👍
Don't put liquid lock in the bowl. Unless you want get a plumber to unclog your drain.
well that’s not true because it’s specifically for the bowl and water in the trap, when you flush the toilet the gel becomes liquid 👍🏼
Most toilet pans already have a handle, the rim grabbed near the back balances it perfectly and why empty the pan when it can be carried with the water in and emptied outside, great tips for wasting time and money
Next video: that car doesn't look good on the licence plate. Let me change the car.
All good until you need to take a shit! 🤣😂🤣🤣🤣😂
Nice!
Thank you 🙏🏼
I just removed my toilet to tile my bathroom. I took the whole toilet apart. Tank and all, I use a plunger to push the water down the bowl. Been doing this for years. No water on the floor. The handle is cool if you are a pro. But for a DIYer no thanks.
I needed that pickup stick 20 years ago. :-)
Do you not have arms?
@@TCielo4 or a 2x4
Usually you turn the water off flush the toilet a couple times through all the water drains and then pull the toilet and stuff a towel down there to keep the sewer gas from seeping into the bathroom the only thing that was useful about this video was the bowl handle used to remove the toilet
Flushing doesnt get all of the water out. And stuffing a towel in there is pretty hackish
@@kevinr3263 As a certified master toilet mechanic I endorse this comment.
Why not turn the water off, and flush the toilet to get rid of the water ?
OATEY has got it going on!
🔥🔥🔥🔥
Are you replacing the toilet or reusing the same one? If reusing, how do you clean out the gel product?
I’m using a new toilet but you can use the same one and just flush water into the bowl, that liquifies the gel
Shop vac
And a timmy's cup, if you're in canada....
Last thing i want to see. I repaired 6 toilets today. Good info though.
Just use a grout sponge. No need to be fancy.
problem is the sponge doesn't get the water in the trap, so that tends to spill on the floor after the toilet is picked up
@@HomeRepairTutor The " trap" is the bottom of the bowl. That's what's sponged out to a bucket. What trap are you talking about?
I replaced two toilets and used that oatey liquid lock. It worked great! Not one drop of water on the floor. It was worth the money.
@@HomeRepairTutor exactly
Pick up stick and sewer gas thingy… cool gadgets!
that Pick Up Stix is a back saver
I usually just use a folded up rag and jam it in the flange hole. Works good. That stick looks awesome though!
Normally I use wet vacuum and completely suck the water.
But then, how would you sell a useless product?
Thats not healthy
what most plumbers do
This.
I'd just use a plunger to force the water down the drain
Pretty good !! 👍👍
Thank you 😊
Thank you master !
Thank you 🙏🏼
Sponge 🧽 saves from adding chemicals so your precious hands don’t touch toilet 🚽 water ewee
