As an osu player tbh I think GD is harder because in osu theres slight room for error where as GD, especially at this level, everything has to be pixel perfect. You have a slight off beat miss tap or a slight over/underaim in osu whereas if your inputs on gd are not perfect then you fail. Idk I don’t play GD so I wouldn’t know. But you can’t really compare the two games because they’re completely different anyways

The main problem with this comparison is that osu is a rhythm game while GD is a rhythm based platformer. Rhythm games are based on precision inputs matched to music, GD is based on precision timing jumps/movements. That being said... yes, the 4th hardest level is gonna be more difficult than a 7 star osu map.

It's more complicated than you think. In osu! you have to drag your cursor AND tap at the same time. You also have to spin your cursor at some moments. While in GD you have to click with timings. Edit: Osu! is 16 cps.

@@user-rw2le7cm4qnope we only use two to click and you have to time it, in gd if you complete a run, its completed , your good, but in osu surviving a run and getting a good score are two different things, you could get a 70% accuracy D level run but it won't be considered good even on a hard map, but getting a 98% SS run is really good even on a medium level map 5*~6*, imagine if osu is a game speedrun, you could get 1hr run in a game where everyone else is doing 30 minutes, now that run isn't good now? A good run un osu depends on what other have accomplished

For example, if your game runs at 60FPS, then you have to click in 1/60 of a second perfectly. Edit: Also only 7 people in the world has beat slaughterhouse in GD.

I don't care what people say. Osu also requires perfect timing? It's a rhythm game. You click to the rhythm, and who says it doesn't require timing? You need to click a million times? In osu, you need to fucking see the circles fast enough, process them, aim for it, and click it. In addition, the faster the BPM and higher the AR, the harder the map is. Some osu players play some maps for a score and not FC it, even after putting in at least 9 months of effort.

it still isn't comparable to GD's slaughterhouse. And its controls are much simpler than osu. In gd, you have to hope to not be impaled by the crazy spike hitboxes and the flashing lights that can give you a literal epileptic attack, plus, check how many times you have to click to beat osu slaughterhouse and GD slaughterhouse, they are far by miles. And, if you die ONCE, just once, you have to restart, and it isn't even close to the hardest level in GD. And you were saying "perfect timings" in GD, its frame perfect timings, you guessed it, if you miss one frame, all your progress is reduced to mere atoms. It even had to be beaten using hacks before it was claimed to be possible, think again, bucko.

Aaaaannnddd??? In osu! there are stream maps that go up to really high beats per minute. A 288 bpm map for example, needs you to click 5 circles per second for as much as the stream of notes goes (and trust me, the streams are long). So even if osu! doesn't need frame perfect accuracy, it's still hella hard to full combo something like this. Please stop comparing gd to osu!. Both games are hard af and go as hard as the mapper/level creator goes. So we can't say that 1 of them is harder.

Truly just depends on what you're better at. Rhythm games or rhythm-based platformer? When it comes to Osu (I'm not an experienced player), the fast-paced jumps and streams definitely require more stamina and spamming skill + 1 miss wont end your run, unless you're talking about an FC or PFC But with Slaughterhouse, 1 miss and it's over, you need better timings. Yeah. That's pretty much all to say about GD. In conclusion: Timings and difficulty easily goes to GD, however overall stamina and spamming skill goes to Osu. But I would just simply like to point out; if it were a PFC then I would think Osu is harder, dunno bout yall tho

Right but wrong. They are very different, yes, but GD is NOT AT ALL, a "mainly memory" game. There are memory heavy lvls like Limbo, yes, but they are a minority. Slaughterhouse is a good example of a level that has no memory parts at all, it's all just precise clicks and click releases, good level reading and just skill at controlling each game mode in general, which is a huge aspect of getting good at the game, if not the main aspect. Now sure, extremely hard levels like this, require you to learn a click pattern through a lot of practice to strengthen the "muscle memory", but muscle memory and "memory" are very different things (and this also applies to OSU).

I think gd slaughterhouse is harder In gd, theres a lot of frame perfect jumps and they even consider playing it in 60 fps or hertz idk is impossible. You need to be consistent at it which is really tough especially the fast pace. Not just that you gotta memorize slaughterhouse since of its atmosphere, REALLY DARK. And doing it in all in one is insane to think. The wave gamemode in gd is hard to control in fast levels, especially mini wave. And in some cases it goes upside down and makes the controls harder cuz it changes it a bit which messes up the muscle memory. Gd is way stressful having peoples heartrate go high. The highest heartrate is 217 and its not even this level. In osu, you gotta be consistent at it aswell and click hella alot. But theres is many strategies to click a ton like jitter clicking. You also need to time the clicks. And i dont think u gotta memorize the pattern.

As an osu player tbh I think GD is harder because in osu theres slight room for error where as GD, especially at this level, everything has to be pixel perfect. You have a slight off beat miss tap or a slight over/underaim in osu whereas if your inputs on gd are not perfect then you fail. Idk I don’t play GD so I wouldn’t know. But you can’t really compare the two games because they’re completely different anyways

The main problem with this comparison is that osu is a rhythm game while GD is a rhythm based platformer. Rhythm games are based on precision inputs matched to music, GD is based on precision timing jumps/movements. That being said... yes, the 4th hardest level is gonna be more difficult than a 7 star osu map.

It's more complicated than you think. In osu! you have to drag your cursor AND tap at the same time. You also have to spin your cursor at some moments. While in GD you have to click with timings. Edit: Osu! is 16 cps.

A good run un osu depends on what other have accomplished

For example, if your game runs at 60FPS, then you have to click in 1/60 of a second perfectly. Edit: Also only 7 people in the world has beat slaughterhouse in GD.

I don't care what people say. Osu also requires perfect timing? It's a rhythm game. You click to the rhythm, and who says it doesn't require timing? You need to click a million times? In osu, you need to fucking see the circles fast enough, process them, aim for it, and click it. In addition, the faster the BPM and higher the AR, the harder the map is. Some osu players play some maps for a score and not FC it, even after putting in at least 9 months of effort.

In gd, you have to hope to not be impaled by the crazy spike hitboxes and the flashing lights that can give you a literal epileptic attack, plus, check how many times you have to click to beat osu slaughterhouse and GD slaughterhouse, they are far by miles. And, if you die ONCE, just once, you have to restart, and it isn't even close to the hardest level in GD. And you were saying "perfect timings" in GD, its frame perfect timings, you guessed it, if you miss one frame, all your progress is reduced to mere atoms. It even had to be beaten using hacks before it was claimed to be possible, think again, bucko.

Aaaaannnddd??? In osu! there are stream maps that go up to really high beats per minute. A 288 bpm map for example, needs you to click 5 circles per second for as much as the stream of notes goes (and trust me, the streams are long). So even if osu! doesn't need frame perfect accuracy, it's still hella hard to full combo something like this. Please stop comparing gd to osu!. Both games are hard af and go as hard as the mapper/level creator goes. So we can't say that 1 of them is harder.

Truly just depends on what you're better at. Rhythm games or rhythm-based platformer? When it comes to Osu (I'm not an experienced player), the fast-paced jumps and streams definitely require more stamina and spamming skill + 1 miss wont end your run, unless you're talking about an FC or PFC But with Slaughterhouse, 1 miss and it's over, you need better timings. Yeah. That's pretty much all to say about GD. In conclusion: Timings and difficulty easily goes to GD, however overall stamina and spamming skill goes to Osu. But I would just simply like to point out; if it were a PFC then I would think Osu is harder, dunno bout yall tho
as an experienced gd player when you straight fly you also need to spam and there is also the wave&ship part where you have to spam 8cps with only one hand which is actually already above average but in osu you have r & f so you can have 2 fingers

Right but wrong. They are very different, yes, but GD is NOT AT ALL, a "mainly memory" game. There are memory heavy lvls like Limbo, yes, but they are a minority. Slaughterhouse is a good example of a level that has no memory parts at all, it's all just precise clicks and click releases, good level reading and just skill at controlling each game mode in general, which is a huge aspect of getting good at the game, if not the main aspect. Now sure, extremely hard levels like this, require you to learn a click pattern through a lot of practice to strengthen the "muscle memory", but muscle memory and "memory" are very different things (and this also applies to OSU).

wdf does check points have to do in this? osu is a one time play game for the maps, you can pause the game but you're forced to put your cursor on a orange circle and then tapping. this will put all ur focus on that orange ball making you not realize the map had countinued making you dead not finishing the map

I think gd slaughterhouse is harder In gd, theres a lot of frame perfect jumps and they even consider playing it in 60 fps or hertz idk is impossible. You need to be consistent at it which is really tough especially the fast pace. Not just that you gotta memorize slaughterhouse since of its atmosphere, REALLY DARK. And doing it in all in one is insane to think. The wave gamemode in gd is hard to control in fast levels, especially mini wave. And in some cases it goes upside down and makes the controls harder cuz it changes it a bit which messes up the muscle memory. Gd is way stressful having peoples heartrate go high. The highest heartrate is 217 and its not even this level. In osu, you gotta be consistent at it aswell and click hella alot. But theres is many strategies to click a ton like jitter clicking. You also need to time the clicks. And i dont think u gotta memorize the pattern.
