How would you compare this to the Blue Yeti? I have the Blackout Edition and love it, but I am wondering about updating to an XLR or this.

I just got it today and the packaging is huge I expected a little box not to mention the microphone is gigantic compared to what I expected, if your reading this and thinking about buying it definitely do it. It sounds great and is a wonderful microphone this is my first standalone mic and I’m absolutely impressed. Edit: this thing blows lol I TAKE IT BACK

I have the razer seirēn pro microphone already and I’m wondering if this one has the same quality sound. I like this one because the size is more compact than the other one but I don’t know if the change will worth it.

See this is really nice i wish i would've gotten this when i got my mic. Because i got a audio-technica usb for like $175 and yeah it is a great mic but it took a very long time to get it tuned perfect and i have to have a keybind to mute it and stuff. I think i would like that one better because it's just plug and play everything is right in front of you and it already sounds great and a little bit of tuning can make it sound even better. i don't know it might just be me but i think it's well worth the $200. Also great video keep up the good work

I am interested in buying it and I would like to ask you a question. In windows 7, when you go to the volume control - recording devices and you select this mic > properties > level, does it have an option to unmute the mic and listen to it directly? I need to know if I can hear my voice directly on headphones otherwise it won't be useful to me. Using headphones on the mic wouldn't be useful because I need to hear the music playing on the pc at the same time. I would appreciate it if you could check that for me. Thanks in advance!

That micro USB looked braided, was it a braided cable? A lot of people don't care for that but I do because I have cats lol. My younger cat thinks any cable is hers so almost all my cables are braided

you can unscrew the base and theres a hole inside made for a boom arm. alsoit tils at around 180 degrees

Guys i have the same mic and it does not respond when i connect it, windows does play that sound when you connect something, but the little light on mic does not light up. Is the mic dead or is it something else?

I'm actually looking for a decent microphone myself now. I done a video last night, and i found that my Astro gaming headset mic, has that tinny sound you were talking about. Sounds like it has too much treble even though i had the bass on it set to maximum. So, time for a new mic, and i came across your review, which is a great review. But i dont think this mic will be for me.
Audio Technica AT2020 for $100 and Behringer mixer for $50 and $10 for the cables. You save about $40 and get a better mic in my opinion.
