A 1. This is not a scary movie at all. The creatures are easy to kill, easy to fool, and they make no sense overall. Why do they attack humans? They don't seem to want to eat them.

I love how the entire sequence from 7:56 onwards is going PARALLELLY for the two characters!!! Such awesome cinematography! The brother and the sister both walking to the alien, both picking up weapons from their right, and both killing the monsters while the man and the mother watch from behind.... its so beautiful how these scenes were put together

5:44 the cinematography for this part was fantastic! For a movie that thrives off of suspense, the layout of that desk and the angle of the camera really do amazing at leaving the viewer at the edge of the seat. You keep thinking that she's going to step on the envelope not knowing there was a can under it or on the mug that was slightly out of sight and she just nearly avoids both
I narrowly avoid stepping on things too! Very suspenseful.
I extremely doubt humanity wouldn't have used sonic weapons on a species that is sensitive to sound......

In this scene many children are attacked and killed by monsters that do not use sight to see, but later discovered sound waves could kill these things at a certain frequency.

I loved A Quiet Place, both movies, really... but still I find it hard to believe that an apparently low number of these creatures was able to destroy the entire world. They can't see shit, and I don't think that their skin is so hard that a high caliber weapon can't kill them

I haven't seen this one yet, so maybe it answers this question. Why didn't the military start playing the sounds of people screaming to lure the creatures to specific spots, then hit them with tactical nuclear weapons? NORAD does still have the bunker.

They tried this, even nukes couldn't kill the aliens when they're armor was full engaged. its explained the reason they are beginning to be able to kill the aliens is that that specific frequency causes a resonance effect in their domed plates skulls, effectively forcing them to open their armor and expose a vital part of their brain that IS sensitive to conventional weaponry

Thanks so much for posting this. I was watching it on TV and paused it to use the bathroom, and ended up pressing the wrong button and losing the movie with 11 minutes to go. That being said, I didn't think it was as good as the first one

Sound-techs take background-levels in quiet-rooms; infrasound from miles away, tectonic-grey-noise, ultra-high-frequency microscopic creatures moving; many sounds make background noise: anyone there automatically dampens those levels, like a silhouette, a very obvious pinpoint-gap, an acoustic-hole in the background; especially if clicking is echo-location, just being quiet shouldn't work.

Loved how the kids showed so much emotion. Scared yet angry. Shame the movie wasn't as good as the first one. Hope the next part would be better.

Man, these might be the Apex predators in whatever planet they're from, but humanity would completely annihilate them. Like, sure, they might have easy time killing people and cutting through old car's roof lining, but what are they gonna do against a tank? The notion that humanity somehow lost against these things and are forced to lived in silence is completely impossible. All it would take is like 4 tanks and few dudes with armor-piercing sniper rifles, and the entire species of these things would we wiped off the face of the earth. Or just invite them all to a rock concert, I bet Metallica could blow their heads off by themselves, what's with all the bazillion watt speakers they got at their shows.
Or even a sniper rifle that shoots a bullet that's faster than sound.

It is unrealistic to think a baby would not be attacked and killed immediately when it cries.
This family took very specific precautions to seal the baby away in a soundproofed cellar in the first movie to avoid this issue. That’s why they had the oxygen mask available, they’d also made a sealed baby carrier - it would be fully soundproof but the baby wouldn’t be able to breathe and would wear an oxygen mask inside. They rigged that up while she was pregnant for when the baby would need to be transported.

These people are aware that those things can only find you and kill you if you make sounds but when they see one for some reason they had the audacity to run around making loud sounds and I know what are y'all going to say they are scared make sense but I'm pretty sure not all of them would panic some would be terrified but if they're smart enough to avoid them stand still and don't make a sound

The only irreal thing in these kinds of movies is that all governments, authorities and militaries fall at once, but some low people in a garage manage to survive. Not only authorities have better technology but they have practices, protocols for emergency. It is not more probable for me in my apartment to live, than for them with all their knowledge. (I can imagine situations in which even that is not enough. But in any zombie or alien apocalypse, I think, the last bastion would be military. No other way.)

The main theme of this scene was ..the kiddos ready to face the fear..
All you need for a death angel force feild is a few hearing aides speakers a wiring kit and boom make shift sonicnforce feild
They should use a stereo at its highest volume to confuse it but I guess that would ruin the story

Bro it’s weakness is a very certain frequency of sound, because they have very good hearing, so it’s also their weakness, and when that happens, their armoured plates separate, so you can kill them😊
Good ending, although the police guy shot multiple times early in the movie with no success, meanwhile a pistol shot and a bump to the head kills it here, I didn't like that detail.
It's because they get vulnerable from the sound of that ear thing she has. Without that sound they are invulnerable.

I am amazed at the depth of degradation of the sense of taste. No, movies aren't "bad." But they can't be called good either. A well-made, passable movie for the evening. Nothing more. The stupid thing about the hearing being their weak points is missiles are loud they scream when they're coming into a Target and explosions are very loud plus we do have subsonic and supersonic weaponry that are usually deployed in right situations but could easily be adapted to pone these things into the ground, and someone would have noticed that wouldn't the loud whistle of ordinance comes at them it makes them open up their heads and freak out I'm sure
First of all, it has to be just the right frequency to be effective. Second of all, these things invaded and ran rampant destroying and killing stuff INSTANTLY. People would be panicking and trying to kill them with gun, bombs, and tanks which we know doesn't do crap to the Death Angel's and most people would be whiped out before they had any chance to learn about the aliens biology!

if you heard an extremely loud and irritating sound your instincts would make you cover both of your ears, think about it like that for the creatures
High frequencies are far harder to tell the exact location of because the sound waves bounce off so many locations so fast that it sounds like it's coming from all around you. And they likely haven't dealt with those frequencies ever so they have no defense or way to counter or even process it.
