As a starwars fan and a martial artist. I always loved fights with actual flashy martial arts used. Which is why I was a big fan of the prequels. And even the knights of the old republic cinematics. U guys hit the nail on the head. Unlike Disney’s starwars were they swing them like baseball bats

@@firelordazula386 This series is set 10 years after Episode III, Obi-wan and Maul didn't have their last fight until Rebels which was two to three years before episode 4.

One epic Battle you guys showcased in this video. It was really incredible with y'all's speed & agility using those Lightsaber & Lightsaber Polearm/Staff Lightsaber. All that parrying & quick reflexes and all that. Awesome Job, you guys!

I think the fight was perfect. It demonstrated how obi-wan has grown while maul grew stagnant. He used the same move that killed qui gon, but obiwan was so prepared he insta killed him

what sabers do you use to fight?
Only one correction: to make it as best as possible better don't show behind the scenes and use the lightsabers sounds instead of the music.

Why can't they have this kind of more intense and nuanced choreography in the big budget Star Wars movies? All we get are mostly boring saber fights in the movies.
The real question is why can't Hollywood do this with multimillion dollar budgets???

I've been a Saber fan since Luke 1st pressed that Button. I was only 12 at That time. Pushin' nearly 42 yrs. Later, From a flashlight with an inflatable tube, imitating saber sounds, An' all that. Has Now slowly becomin' not just a culture trend But into a Sporting Event sa Well.

Никакого реального боя на световых мечах, даже гипотетического, быть не может. Другое дело, что каждый определяет сам, нравится ему или нет, только и всего👌

Последнее как раз таки и пыталось представить как могли бы сражаться на подобном оружии, если бы оно существовало, ставя чуть больше упора на эффективность стилей битвы, чем на эффектность.
not bad. some pretty good moves and choreography, but...all the poses when you finish a move make y'all look like dorky 90s kids watching the power rangers. take those out and it would be an 8/10.

@@anferneesuellcosplay5455 its like twirling around a Bo Staff. We've all hit ourselves in the knee or leg and it hurt like hell. Now imagine you have a foot long cylinder that has a blade made of plasma coming out of both ends and knowing any wrong move means you could delimb yourself.

Где же вы находите такую удивительную информацию?🤣 Ник Гиллард, постановщик боёв в приквелах, услышал про эти формы впервые лет через пять (а то и все десять) после съёмки третьего эпизода. Поэтому к фильмам и боям, которые есть в фильмах, "формы" не имеют НИКАКОГО отношения.
@@SchoolofSaberfighting но все же, если внимательно посмотреть 2 и 3 эпизоды, то будет видно, что стиль у него для наступления не очень подходит. Именно поэтому он смог победить Гривуса, и именно из-за стиля он не смог победить Дуку, потому чт опошел в наступление, для которого стиль не предназначен
В таком случае позволю себе заметить, что здесь и не должно быть никакого Соресу, потому что бой Оби-Ван/Мол это первый эпизод, и до смерти Квай-Гона Оби-Ван работал по форме IV Атару. Как в общем-то и в этом видео, потому что половина хореографии тут из фрагмента их дуэли в первом фильме.
@@SchoolofSaberfighting но все же, это какая-то смесь из Соресу и Шиена с небольшим добавлением Атару. Четвертый стиль как защитный не очень, так что Мол, нанося много ударов пробил бы защиту Оби-Вана, или хотя-бы вымотал его, как это было с Квай-Гоном.
