The 2 guys are friends so in my opinion,it was simply a case of saying the truth and needing to be harsh in order for someone that Cole cares for to finally get the message. Wale recognized this by stating at the end of his track in response that he still bumps Cole. Moreover,he also says that he'll see him at the game later, which they were pictured together at. If the person involved hasn't taken it as a diss then I am unsure how so many people see differently.
