  • the 2 plates of frame on both sides says it was repaired before. That butt welding job will not last and will crack even faster as no patch plate was scabbed over it. The frame is a type of string steel and designed to flex before cracking, the weld makes the metal very hard and will crack easy.

    • That is a double frame truck from the factory. I'm guessing they do this all the time and if it was such a poor repair they would do something different. I would be more concerned that the steel had been flexed so much that it might crack again rather than breaking at the weld

  • Ребята конечно молодцы,трудолюбивые, но весь этот ремонт абсолютно бессмысленный,рама лопнет опять.Ни усиления, ни вставки,это долго не проходит,тем более рядом крепление рессоры....Прям как у нас на продажу делают,лишь бы-лишь бы и закрасили(следы замели)

  • Look at the, state of tyres. Volvo frames are made for 60 tones. This truck was so overloaded

  • Spot welding looks pretty, but very little strength. Also would have welded an inner brace. Nothing will solve continual overloading of truck.

    • That is the real issue here, weight limits getting stretched beyond their capacity, can't fix that with a welder and screws.

    • These guys didn't add a 3rd beam to the frame. Did the repair and didn't see bracing added or I missed it. Good luck.

  • Never seen a Volvo chassis crack like that even on the worst of use in the UK..sometimes other chassis might, but never a Volvo. Must have endured some serious abuse that truck

    • Alfie Ji I’m from India and this repair has happened in Pakistan. You probably have no idea how much we need to reuse in both countries and this repair was well worth it. That truck will now work for another 25years. With a few engine rebuilds.& probably also a few more chassis repairs.

  • You should have put a sleeve on the inside frame rail and then welded it together. it's going to break again after the first or second load.

  • Это делается не так ; Зачистили , обварили , снова зачистили шов , резаком нужно прогреть метал до цвета побежалости вокруг сварного шва и сам шов , чтобы поменялась структура метала , потому что при дуговой сварке метал кристаллизуется вдоль сварного шва и становится хрупким , при нагрузке лопнет прямо по шву , для этого и нужно прогреть сварной шов , а поверх сварного шва наложить усиливающую пластину и обварить коротким швами таким образом чтобы швы не пересекались с местом где была трещина , предварительно перед привариванием усиливающей пластины дополнительно сверлятся в накладываемой пластине отверстия в шахматном порядке диаметром 30 миллиметров чтобы приварить к основной раме круглыми швами которые обеспечивают дополнительное усиление и препятствуют разрыву металла на сварочных швах , следовательно после выполнения всех процедур готовое изделие снова нужно прогреть резаком свариваемую зону до цвета побежалости и дать остыть естественным остыванием металла при температуре окружающей среды , остужать водой ни в коем случае нельзя , иначе меняется структура металла и металл становится снова закалённым и хрупким , далее пока металл тёплый нужно тщательно зачистить и обезжирить и нанести слой кислотного грунта чтобы закрыть металл и защитить в дальнейшем от коррозии так как при остывании металл втягивает в себя с атмосферы влагу что в дальнейшем может привести к образованию ржавчины , только в такой последовательности ремонта вы достигните крепкой конструкции выдерживающей огромные нагрузки 😉 تنظيف ، مبسترة ، تنظيف التماس مرة أخرى ، مع القاطع تحتاج إلى تسخين المعدن إلى لون المدى حول اللحام والتماس نفسه ، بحيث يتغير هيكل المعدن ، لأنه أثناء اللحام القوسي ، يتبلور المعدن على طول اللحام ويصبح هشا ، ينفجر مباشرة على طول التماس تحت الحمل ، لذلك تحتاج إلى تسخين اللحام ، وعلى رأس اللحام تطبيق لوحة التسليح واللحام مع طبقات قصيرة بحيث طبقات لا تتقاطع مع المكان الذي تم فيه كسر الكراك , في السابق ، قبل لحام لوحة التسليح ، يتم حفر ثقوب إضافية في اللوحة المتراكبة بترتيب متدرج يبلغ قطره 30 ملم من أجل اللحام بالإطار الرئيسي بدرزات مستديرة توفر تعزيزا إضافيا وتمنع المعدن من الانكسار عند طبقات اللحام ، لذلك ، بعد إجراء جميع الإجراءات ، يجب تسخين المنتج النهائي مرة أخرى بقاطع إلى المنطقة التي يتم لحامها بلون التشغيل والسماح لها بالتبريد عن طريق التبريد الطبيعي للمعدن عند درجة حرارة البيئة ، ومن المستحيل تبريده بالماء في أي حال من الأحوال , خلاف ذلك ، يتغير هيكل المعدن ويصبح المعدن صلبا وهشا مرة أخرى ، ثم عندما يكون المعدن دافئا ، من الضروري تنظيفه تماما وإزالة الشحوم وتطبيق طبقة من التربة الحمضية لإغلاق المعدن وحمايته من التآكل في المستقبل ، لأنه عندما يبرد المعدن ، فإنه يسحب الرطوبة من الغلاف الجوي ، مما قد يؤدي في المستقبل إلى تكوين الصدأ ، فقط في تسلسل الإصلاح هذا ستحقق بنية قوية يمكنها تحمل الأحمال الضخمة 😉

  • Please tell me if you would drive that 30 year old FH with a crudely welded double framed chassis, pulling overloaded 80 ton trailers through the mountains of Pakistan for a few dollars a day, if that. Thank the lord I'm not a Hgv driver in the middle East, give it a week that crack will open up again. Please say yes if you would drive that fully freighted for $100 a hour cause I know I wouldn't!!!!????

  • These trucks on this channel MUST be grossly overloaded there ALWAYS seems to be Chassis damage, so either overloading OR are they not made strong enough???? I think the first option.

  • wot a complete waste of time that will break again ive been a welder for 30 yrs and never seen anythink like this didnt even put any thick plates over the split chassy to reinforce it glad those trucks are not on the roads were i live and then sprays it to look good to split those chassy that truck must be abused daily and over weight

  • В раму до кабины как минимум нужно было ещё раму вставлять, в коламбию(Фред), если рама лопается, во внутрь ровно подходит зиловская рама, (разделанная), а сварка, извиняюсь за маты, это на отъебись.

  • Wenn man sieht mit was für Reifen diese Halbgaren dort Tonnenschwere Laste Befördern wundert einen nichts mehr. Doppelte und dreifache Ladung als Erlaubt bringen das Chassi natürlich zum brechen dann noch diese Sliks wo nur noch der halbe Reifen vorhanden ist da dreht sich einem der Magen um.

  • Я думаю, они такие покупают колхознинько чинят и на продажу, а другие кто купят для работы, и раму вторую вставляют и усиливают, рессоры добавляют а то больно мало рессор для этого региона, короче перекупы.

  • The cracks need to have a FULL PENETRATION WELD.The backside of the weld needs a 3/8” flat bar to act as a back-up bar.once the front face of the cracked frame is welded the back-up bar needs to be removed & then the crack needs to be welded where the back-up bar was.That weld he put down was a CRAP WELD!!!Poor penetration & Poor tie-in.That type of welding process would NEVER fly here in the 🇺🇸.If they are going to weld like that then put a splice plate on the front & back of the weld & weld it all the way around with a 1/4” Fillet weld minimum.These poor guys have never been taught the proper welding procedure & process.

  • Chronic abuse and overloading the truck. There seems they do not have any concept of design loads and bad roads, common to see axles snap as well.
