  • We have a Hev and just driving around town never going above 50 mph it returns 29.6 mpg together into 40s you need a good motorway run even the we still only getting 43.8 We also have 2020 toyota rav4 Hev awd as apposed to 2wd of Hyundai same round town journey 42.3mpg on say 50 mile motorway added in the mix that goes 45.6 but on our recent euro drive 55.7mpg. So the rav4 with its bigger engine and slight bigger battery does better on fuel . So we are a bit disappointed on fuel side.

    • It is indeed, approx £1300 for the Tech Pack, which, unless they've updated the website configurator, doesn't show as an option for the Ultimate Hybrid. A step too far for us on the supposed top trim level, so we passed on it. The website has caught a few people out though who ordered the vehicle expecting the tech pack to be included.

    • Great question. I’ve got a Skoda Karoq with LED headlights and they’re brilliant. I’ve not heard great things about the Tucson’s LED units. But there again very few car reviews even mention things like it even though having shite headlights while driving in the dark is, you would think, quite a pertinent piece of info to be armed with.

  • If the Hev was awd this would be the sweet spot car for me . The Toyota has it right, the e CVT is very good, it responsive when you put you foot down but because you do not get the kick down you only get increase in engine noise (like you're reving the car in neutral) you can be in 3 figure very quickly and let me tell you many a sporty bmw and mercede where left behind in Germany just before Christmas to the surprise of there owners. That rear electric motor give a nice kick in the back feel. Toyota have got the experience with Hev technology but hyundai are only a breath or two away I like the hyundia but now you got Suzuki sell a rebadged rav4 phev awd I will save my pennies and the Suzuki A cross which is nicer looking than rav4 build in the same factory with same everything to Toyota but a lot cheaper guess where I a heading unless hyundai offer a discount. Phev.

    • All Hyundai are rip offs of other car - every single one

      @saintetienne755@saintetienne7552 жыл бұрын
    • @@saintetienne755 In what sense? This Tucson for instance, what car has it ripped off with its front end? Or it's dash and cabin design? The entire motor industry is a rip off of itself. Manufacturers steal design cues from one another all the time. It's a thing that moves and has 4 wheels.

      @stephenwakeman3074@stephenwakeman30742 жыл бұрын
    • @@stephenwakeman3074 Hyundai is blatant in it's rip off - cue Audi, Mercedes, BMW - this one is part Macan part RAV4

      @saintetienne755@saintetienne7552 жыл бұрын
    • @@saintetienne755 You’re saying it’s blatant but not specifying what you feel is ripped off? Don’t see any Macan in this at all. RAV4 yes, wheel arches and the part of the design line at the rear quarter. But that’s it. It’s doesn’t look BMW, Audi, Merc in the slightest to me. I wouldn’t mistake it on the road for any of those. That’s why I’m saying if you’re claiming it’s a rip off then how? Because other than the fact it’s an SUV style vehicle, it’s not similar. SUVs are homogenous in their general size, shape and road profile because they’re a style and format and there is only so much manufacturers can do to differentiate their offerings while still keeping it as a car. The front and headlights aren’t like anything else in this segment and neither is the cockpit. It’s got more boot space than most it’s rivals. It has an uncommon BLIS function that uses the digital instrument cluster. None of those features are ripped off.

      @stephenwakeman3074@stephenwakeman30742 жыл бұрын
    • @@stephenwakeman3074 I was saying Hyundai use cues from Audi BMW and Merc on most other cars. Here the grill is inspired by Citroen DS range, wheel arches are Lexus UX, rear is like Ford Edge. Even the wheel alloys are like Renault Scenic. Take a look at them - the resemblance is not accidental

  • Come the badge is not in the the glass the badge isca complete separate piece of plastic nothing special there wen you think that a number of cheaper cars make the whole tail gate from glass with badges and wipers. Those front light are one big unit either sidevofvthe grill they not separate units and because led they a much cooler light source there's nothing hugely special in the unit nice design feature but not overly complex again with the wheel its not a complex casting. So why you come out with all this hype some might think you're getting a incentive or two.
