I put my 2 door Jeep JL Wrangler to the test at the Silver Lake Sand Dunes at the Jeep Invasion in Mears, Michigan. Why do I love the Sand Dunes so much? This is my favorite Jeep event of the summer...

We had a blast that day too. Looks like us in the red ,we'll, one of the red ones lol. Little skelly sitting on the bumper. We got stuck too but was worth the photo opp lol. And big shout out to the guys that pulled us out. That place is a definite must do if you've never been there.

I like running sand dunes. I’ve learned that there are no 2 dune areas alike. Some have more fine grain sand and really tall dunes that make it hard for street legal vehicles to run while others have more hard packed surface and a few small berms/ razor backs. Gotta be careful, it’s easy to get sideways and flip or just get stuck. Still really fun tho.

Nice vid . In sand air down your tires to 20 lbs and put in 4 low and it will crawl everywhere and for certain help pull out other stuck vehicles. Carry a small air compressor and fill em back to your road rating once you get out of the sand….Thanks for sharing again great vid and some absolutely beautiful area to wheel…

Sand doesn’t do much for me. I prefer wooded trails and such. None the less, looks like a great time was had by all.

- Yeah the sand dunes are fun. Once a year is enough for me lol 😂. The wooded trails in Michigan are great too

- I am with you on the sand. Although it looks fun as f. I prefer wooded trails where you gotta know how to stick your Jeep in tight spots. Shows skill. Not that sand don’t but more chance of body damage in the woods. A lot more heart pumping and serious faces..? Hahahahaha

I have a 2022 JLR with the 2.0 Turbo non e-torque. How has your gas mileage changed with the 315 tires? Swapping to that tire size and staying stock suspension is something I am considering. Thanks.

How well does the jeep 2.0 Turbo do , we have Octillo wells and Borrego along with Glamis so far my 4xe does really well without airing down on 33
