This is by far the most impactful mission in the Modern Warfare trilogy. The death of Soap MacTavish was probably the most emotional event in Call of Duty, and being able to no-clip outside it to see the secrets hidden out of sight was amazing. There were hidden rooms, dev tricks, and real-life locations to discover. I hope you all enjoy it as much as I did!

To my understanding, for 26:28, it isn't the scaffolding that causes Soap to bleed out. It was the fall that re-opened the wound from the fight with Shepherd during "Endgame" in MW2.
Also, just a thing I wanted to correct: Imran Zakhaev wasn’t Makarov’s dad, he was his boss, the previous ultranationalist leader. I find his name interesting, actually-Imran is an Arabic name, while Zakhaev apparently isn’t a real name, but seems vaguely Central Asian to me. It would be interesting if the leader of the Russian ultranationalist movement in the games is of Central Asian Muslim descent, since most Russian nationalists I know of are Christian Slavs.
Love that you also explore the real locations to try to figure out where the mission takes inspiration from, I remember when I first played these missions back then I just guessed they made up random areas with real names plastered on them

I spent a month in Prague recently working in a hostel and man the way they represented this city is amazing, very accurate to the real city

The Charles Bridge is also the site of one of the last battles of the 30 Years’ War, with Prague defending itself against the Swedish army (there’s a Sabaton song about it). The statues in the game are kinda weird-are they meant to have been built during the communist period that ended in the 90s? Or do they symbolize the current (in-game, ofc) Russian occupation? In the case of the latter it’d be weird, since Russia is explicitly ultranationalist rather than communist (though given how the real CPRF is, iirc, very pro-Putin, I wouldn’t be surprised if they went along with Makarov in this universe).
I really like the amount of detail going in the level scattered about within the level and outside the level. I'd like to see some CoD4 levels like Charlie Don't Surf, Shock and Awe, Blackout, and All Ghillied Up/One Shot, One Kill.

So all this time we didnt know the Russians got ran off before the mission even started. Explains why there wasnt barely any resistance they all got ran over.

Eye of the Storm is one of my favorite mission, MW3 2011 was the first ever cod game I played. And seeing it in a different perspective just makes me smile. Keep up the good work 👏 🎉

The statues on the bridge is actually the famous soviet "Rabochii"(Worker, male one) and "Kolhoznitsa"(collective farmer, female). Troops throwing bodies in water with the same animation as in CoD 4 Pripyat part.
Fun fact! You can actually shoot the BTR that rolls overhead at the 8:53 mark in the video, but if you do it triggers an automatic game over. It's honestly kinda funny. 😁
32:28 Hey man actually the church you shoot out of is called St. Nicholas church, and you can actually see it at 32:45. (The one with the green roof) The whole area is actually really accurate to the real life place, the only difference is the hotel of course

Would you be willing to look outside of some custom maps? Like some popular ones or generally just ones you like. I have seen some crazy stuff out of bounds in a lot of them. Also to compare how custom mappers make maps compared to treyarch. It's also basically unlimited content Also mp maps throughout the games too

Was that an invisible enemy trying to aim at you or some kind of artifact of the guns control mechanic? Which gun was it and is that a model thats normally seen in the game anywhere?
