    • This logic would fail SO HARD. Celestials feed on SOULS to exist. Some use that energy to give life (Tiamut, Arishem etc), some just keep feeding non-stop (Galactus). Celestial being born without taking lives of billions is a WASTE of a celestial. It would be an equivalent of a breathless baby being born. To be honest, this movie is AMAZING because it created a very convincing view on religion - celestials give life so that they could harvest it later on. It is an endless cycle of life and death, and that is what is so beautiful. Life needs to be taken to give new life. That is something very few movies are bold enough to do, so, mad props to the creators.

    • @@kingol4801 As far as I recall in the movie (and the comics I've read), the celestials needed to 'gestate' on a planet with intelligent life. They 'feed' over a long period of time, by the time they are ready to be birthed they have accumulated enough energy from that planet's intelligent life force. Is there a source that they need to actually 'kill' the rest of the life there when being 'birthed' since by that time they had already gradually fed on the life force. I see the destruction of the planet as more of a side-effect of them breaking out of the shell, not necessarily as part of the 'feeding'. Also pretty sure Galactus is not a celestial.

    • I feel like that depends on the situation since not everybody would actually help and be borderline useless. A good example of this is Dr. Strange second movie cause I'm pretty sure Wanda (being corrupted) would have no issue in killing the other marvel heroes if Dr. Strange tried to get their help. Plus its his movie and having other characters in there would come off as forced and could screw up the pacing for the movie.
