I live in England, have watched a lot of these videos and I'm familiar with quite a few of the manufacturers shown on the videos. What surprises me is I haven't seen a Bertram, a Hatteras or a Grand Banks on these videos. Are they not popular in that part of the U.S. ?
I have seen those boats up in the North-east although I haven't seen any Grand Banks lately. They might not be made any more. Down by Miami, you'll find more "open" boats. Have a nice Day.
Aronow built the first Cigarette boat under the name Cary, with the help of Elton Cary's Miami Beach facility.
Maybe the guy with the little door opened thinks if you go slow the waves wouldn't bother you. Put that horse power to work and get a nice ride. No slip slopping around in the waves. What do I know I'm from Northern Alberta. TKS.

Most of these boats are lifted out of the water and kept inside a warehouse on racks when they aren't being used.

Surprised to see that Cigarette jump out of the water so much, that’s really not good, those boats used to be wave crushers, probably making them to light with carbon junk
I believe that was just for show. Cigarette produces exceptional boats

Money doesn’t make a good captain, door open, low speed, etc.
He's going to slow. Beating up his riders for no reason. The boat was designed to ride on top of the waves and has the power to do so. He must be afraid of breaking something.
