I am finalizing a similar build, but using PVC pipe and with an auto-feed for a half dozen beach volleyballs. Thanks for the inspiration!

hey there i am a volleyball player from india and we need something like that for increasing our spiking height. But this instrument is way too costly to buy. It will be great help if you could help me with how to make this at home.

Sure thing! You can simplify this first make the holder for the volleyball then just attach it to the top of a yard stick
