Hi Guys, Where are you from? :)
Paraguay
Indonesia 🇮🇩
I'm from Peru. Your material is awesome!!
US
🇮🇳India
Imagine building this whole thing and then your team signs Mazepin..
Haha thats really bad idea, maybe the tyres manufactures need special tyres for him 🤣
Haas is doing almost nothing by themself. Almost everything comes from dallara and ferrari
@@SzalonyXardas Yes, and they've done zero development on the car this year. It's annoying that it's an "American" team, but now that Dmitry Mazepin made Urakali the title sponsor of the team, it has basically been adopted by the Russians as their team. I assume Gene Haas will pull out soon, and Mazepin will become the team's new owner, more or less.
Would be awesome... job security while his daddy pays the bills
Their engineers must be top notch
This shows how important the driver is in Formula 1. One could imagine the happiness of the workers at garage, when their car gets the podium.
Aston Martin F1 workers must be feeling suicidal...
@@robo4821 Now they are feeling better at the moment. 2 podiums in 2 races.
And this was in 2007. It's 2022 and the process has advanced way more then this. Imagine the tech such as CAD or wind tunnels etc the teams are using now. Must be mind blowing 🤯
The things that humans can do is mindblowing.
@@kun866 yeah, and to think we are only now scratching the surface in the grand scheme of things too, wow.
Both wind tunnels and cad are old technology?
@brennanf2486 I'm not even sure myself but I think so, at least as old as computers are, so maybe like late 80s early 90s?
CAD is CatiaV4, 1993
Glad to see they use the allen keys that come in the box.
No music, no boring comments. The pictures say it all. Fantastic, interesting video
There you understand how that amazing for a mechanic to see a F1 rolling on circuit after hard work. Noise is such a reward at the end of the doc! Thanks !
When you realize all the work that’s put in just to crash it on day 2 of practice.
Wait, seriously? Is that what happened?
@@Velocitist no, it's just an example that happens quite often
They usually just repair the damage done to the car. It’s a lot cheaper to fix for example a ruined suspension and engine cover than making a whole new car.
hahahaha
correct. that's why Pierre Gasly had been written off at Red Bull from day one on. He shredded that brand new car on his first day at Barcelona.
Sans narration. I love it. Feels like I'm a clueless guy walking through the factory. Well done. It's ridiculous how much money they spend to go faster. It's also fantastic.
Loved it. Thnks for the upload. I like your channel. Keep up the good work.
This is from the era when F1 engines sounded fantastic. Glad I got to experience the sounds of these cars. It's something I'll never forget.
Well, youtube is exist so technically younger generation could experience it too
@@beryl5739 Listening through speakers is not experience.
@@worldwide8553 I'm sorry, how did the majority of people listen to the V10/V8 sounds then? Sound by mail?
@@rodriguezracer4567 they went to a race. It wasn't even played on TV back in the day so to experience it you would just simply have to be there.
@@Ole_CornPop It wasn’t? I feel like there was TV of it since like the 80s… really?
28:05 The best engine sound I've every heard.
Unfortunately i am not in 28:05 yet
It's a V8, too. Everybody used to talk about how much better the V10's sounded... It just shows how deprived we are with these hybrid V6's.
The quality of this footage looks real good considering it was recorded 10+ years ago.
Lol what did you expect? Black & white moon landing style footage?!?
Charles Magnuson we aint gone far
Yoo 2K videos existed since the men in black early 2000's
Seriously? What do you think? 10 years ago was stone-age?
The next video looks into the F1 teams camera production line
9:50 give yourself a treat and go full volume. 🤓🍻
All the hours, the nights, the days, the months of designing, doubt, testing, prove it, fabricate it, build the thousand pieces into one, start it and finaly this 28:45 ❤
This is my kind of documentary!!
Ahh... now I know what I'm doing to pass the time in quarantine! 💡
É muita eficiência viu! Parabéns ao pessoal da BMW. Brasil
Real beast sound! Really miss a noise like this again.
9.43 min to 10.43 min made my day.. that sound.... you can never forget that sound...
Awesome vids...thanks for upload!! However, I'm amazed at the lack of PPE. No required eye protection in the paintbooth @ 20:52? No hearing protection during the engine run? Crazy!
A good-looking and competitive car back then
The real sounds of F1 cars. I miss it.
Amazing at how far we have progressed in our production facilities.
Bmw williams f1 before is a beast! Now 2019 Williams is a beast if they compete in F3.
I'm sympathetic to Williams team, but since last year they're wrong ... hopefully and recover are big circus ... which would be good formula ... williams-renault williams-bmw williams-honda my preferance williams-honda, pure power but I'm a fan of ferrari
They haven't been the same since they went with the walrus concept in 2004. And haven't had a driver like JPM
Lins Lins It’s Williams-BMW.
Lins Lins a beast? breaking down all the time and dominated by ferrari
This is BMW Sauber btw
24:00 - All that technology, "Hey, how do I get these fragile freshly painted body parts to you?" "By hand."
Nice work
I'miss BMW Sauber =´(
Vinicius Alexandre I miss BMW Sauber too
Why? BMW screwed over all their employees when they suddenly left F1. They will never be welcomed back. At least Honda had the dignity to sell their team on, instead of just walking away.
me too and toyota to
I MISSED BMW / BMW TEAM MOTORSPORT///❤❤❤❤❤🇩🇪🇩🇪🇩🇪 AND NOT SAUBER
I do think that BMW should be back in f1
Very great video !!
Good to see Nick and Peter from back in the day.
What a beautiful sound
Those sand castings were amazing. It looked like they were making cheese at one stage! 🤗
2021 before 2021 F1 season still rewatching this.
F1 needs BMW to return.
9:42 / 28:04 - When the motor sound was exciting. F1's motor sound was killed.
9:55 the sound from F1 hell.
Hermoso el sonido de los motores, me da nostalgia!
When a race car sounded like a race car. Formula E can never compete.
Davidson A Davidson racing is racing and not sound
@@CHRISrnbWORLD the sound, along with things like pit boards, grid girls and audiences are part of racing, sadly some of these things aren't here anymore, btw if you're against formula 1 for its high carbon footprint, think about how electricity is made, yes it is more environmental friendly but not as friendly as you think, its only benefit to the world is tech development and entertainment
can you find a documentary about how modern f1 cars are made? from 2017 until 2019
The latest one was back in 2011 at Williams...
I'll let you know in 2029
Sure ,they're going to reveal their secret sauce and party packs. They wont surface till the formula changes.
@@nssherlock4547 _their_ secret sauce 'Sherlock'
A F1 car is made in the exactly same way today. The only thing that changed is that some of the CAM, CAD and IEA tools have a higher capacity. But the manufacturing process itself is totally the same.
Very good job 👍💖👌✨🤙
That sound !!! And all this time I thought the paint was a wrap. Respect for these guises.
Luc Desaulniers foil is too heavy
They want as little material as possible
At 18:54 would you feel that tire wobble or is that common? I've never seen a car on a treadmill before so my only reference is bike tires with the bike on a stand or flipped.
Fantastic
Suarane syahdu lek...
Perfect fit! Click
Magic 👍
25:05 the best moment !
18:22 is brilliant too
Is that a v10
How cool would it be to have one of those model cars !!!😄😄😄😄😎😎😎
Love BMW F1
I gave this video a like for the tech jamming Foreigner at the 7:46 mark.
Petronas Malaysia. Proud to be Malaysian...
Mom: son where are you going Me: to the beach To get 1000hp
NICE.
I know why I don't watch F1 anymore. But know I remember why I was watching F1 before...
Boy do I miss that true F1 beast roaring sound.
Sorry, quick question out of curiosity. How are the F1 race cars we have today any less “real”?
I was just about to say i miss the real F1 sound. To answer this other guys question if you cant hear the different engine sound from back then to now your a rookie. F1 now the engine is just quiet. I've been watching F1 since 1988 i love that high pitch F1 sound. Nothing like it.
me too😭😭
amazing ,the year of the docymentary?

My Favorite f1 car💓🔥
Such a cool video
We used to build race cars in a lock-up, in the evening, after a day's work.
You mean tamiya or aoshima !? 😂
very interesting vid

hi im malaysia ... so proud

Beutiful engine sound😍😍😍😍👏👏👏👏👏
When f1 was lovely And fantastic... PURE amazing v10sound😍😍😍
No I'm sorry it's a V8
It's a V8. This car is the 2006 Sauber. The last year with V10 was 2005
superb
Had I not read the video title, for some parts at least, I'd think they're making some sort of food. But the person making it, he looks like an engineer..so that gives it away.
I want the wind tunnel model.
Call me a troglodyte but i still love old F1 cars. Like the Lotus 49. Or 72. Or the Ferrari 312B. And engines like the Cosworth DFV V-8. Or Ferrari flat 12 pumping its heart out.
Troglodyte
Marvellous movie!
I see TimO in action!!
Sound... it's the sound of the Formula 1....
Sound of turbo = street car Not F1
Nice Ersy
Love that engine sound. Those were beautiful cars.
The era that i missed so much
BMW Power !!
2006 car Heidfeld, Villeneuve (Kubica)
And Sebastian Vettel ?

I guess in 20 years time we'll be able to 3d print our own f1 car
its been 2 years since your comment, and we now already can do it. Metal and Plastic 3d printers have become very affordable, a dad in USA 3d printed a full sized working Lamborghini aventador for his kid.
I don’t know the track they use to go testing ? Can someone tell which circuit it is?
How many steps and hands went through to become this power plant, dreams, votes and beauty, to reach the tracks.
See them touching up the livery with scalpel. Now, cut to, Kubica barrell rolling it.
i miss you BMW Sauber F1
Interessante!!!
That F1 sound is music!
are they still using same process in this new hybrid era?
Yup, more or less.. but with more electronics involved due to the hybrid systems, aswell as more piping because of the turbo.
Seria mi felicidad trabajar ahí. Aunque sea limpiando piezas
great
Good job. Handmade
If anyone here who started watching F1 in 2014 or after you get to hear what a proper F1 car sounds like at the end of this video - glorious! I know they won’t but they should bring back 3.0L V10 in 2021 or at least 2.4L V8
Well it's 2021 and it didn't happen lol. Oh and did they ever use 3L V10 or 2.4 V8
@@stormtrooperlawyer7953 yeah and no NA engine is coming back anytime soon either from what I read. Not sure exactly what you mean there at end but yes, of course. Teams used to be free to choose whatever engine they wanted
In 2021 F1 is now a prisoner to the carbon neutral movement. NA engines are seen as dinosaurs.
@@ivanjulian2532 Sad but true - these current F1 PUs are so complex it took Honda 5 years to get it right! Lucky for us some carmakers like Porsche, Chevy, and Ford are still selling great NA engines in street cars
Wish I could buy the little one and make it rc
Expensive and my dream car since 2005
cool
