I think this was an excellent host. No hype, simply direct questions and direct answers. She was the antithesis of the typical TV host, who use a lot of emotion and hyperbole, yet notice how many times she got Musk to laugh, loud and hearty. Great interview, all around.
Couldn't agree more, some comments here even are saying she wasn't a good host.
It's her broken voice that's difficult to listen to. Annoying really for such a long interview.

I usually don't post negative comments but I just hate moments like @30:00 where Elon answers her question with something deeply profound. And she inmediatly replies with something about space pollution without even acknowledging his answer... Like brah at least say... "I see your point" or something.

You have a brilliant mind in the stage and instead of asking about futures of tech,automation and job development, instead asking BS questions about election, president, and democracy, what a waste of his time and us
These questions are asked of Musk 24/7. That's why I'm GLAD that she asked him "different" questions. It gave me an additional view into his mind. He seemed to enjoy it, too. Simply count how many times he actually laughed, then make the same tally in his other interviews. You may have been bored, but he certainly wasn't.

Excellent thoughtful conversation here. For those criticizing the interviewer Kara Swisher, she's been a prominent tech reporter for well over 20 years and has the seniority to ask Elon hard questions. You'll notice he's giving respectful answer most of the time rather than just clowning her (as he does with a lot of critics).
it would be excellent if she had a voice, its off putting having to hear her speak. She needs to take better care of her throat if shes going to be preforming

This interview feel like I’m watching my Aunt Sally interviewing one of the most future focused person on earth with just her basic knowledgeable everything he does, That’s why Elon responds with basin intellectual words towards her cause he knows she not that intellectual.
You'd be surprised. This woman has some deep waters. You can just tell. Perhaps she doesn't know the abbreviations and the technical terms. But she's witty as fuark

I think that’s by design. Her basic questions coerce the interviewee to speak in more rudimentary language so the average layman can understand the complex concepts
One of the geniuses in tech, business and leadership in our time. I had my doubts about Tesla long-term, but he made a believer out of me. SpaceX, Starlink, Boring Company, Hyperloop, AI projects, solar power, and the list goes on and on. He was toying with an electric jet airplane but paused because he said his head may explode. He’ll likely quit it all in a few years and just work on SpaceX and the Mars project.
He's programmed only the conscience, his sub could continue running all his companies. It's the brain cells limit thus can stop him. If your not born to expand it has a stop here point.
do some research on all of these futuristic flashy bullshit projects of his, most if not all of them are just that futuristic bullshit projects that are for from reality and going nowhere or are already on the brink of bankruptcy

Starlink is just another one of his "incredible inovations" just spitting out unrealistick bullshit clams while in reality the costs of running it will never work out due to how expensive is to launch satellites into space. It has been debunked to death on youtube and it will never work.

I do not know the internet prices in the US, but I can assume that with the internet already there, it could possibly be a bit cheaper, maybe.
Humanity could just focus on relaxing and taking humanity further in every way. Instead of being stagnant like now. Elon gives me hope for the future.

I feel like every time Elon stutters or says um he's thinking of a way to explain something complex to average people.
And impressively, he's not trying to be condescending. He's trying to be transparent but due to his field, it's beyond the understanding of most of us. He doesn't hold that against us like say Hawking did.
One of the reasons he started Neurolink was to try to address the impediment of having to translate quick and complex thoughts into words, language. He rather sees it more effective to communicate thoughts as they happen directly to the receiver without the barrier and intricacies of words.
This hardworking, life changed Elon viewed much less views while other people has M views , its show generations lost

After their last interview together i thought possibly the interviewer may have a crush for Elon. And now after the "Elon has a rocket" comment I am convinced she def has the hots for him.
