Welcome to my channel Mr.Rany Homehome.

  • I had a lot of old pipes and rebar to cut up and from what I read kzhead.infoUgkxPDBfLu68o58Aw85O_J-zIFfjJARBhp-3 this would be the tool for the job. Since I had never used one, I watched a couple of youtube videos and I'm so glad I did. Some really good safety tips, which I followed, and this tool did a splendid job. One good thing to know is the weight of the tool puts just about the right amount of pressure on the metal I was cutting, so I didn't have to use a lot of pressure, which is more likely to jam the tool. It made fast work of my job.

    • Thanks for your best watching. I do love my homemade but everything that expectations is not sound the plan because I spend over my budget compared to my income and hard work because don has any tools and equipment. Now not sure keep doing it or not. Thank you again

  • if you add vertical adjustment for the angle grinder (by modifying the ends of the horizontal support rectangular profile, i.e) I think this is a very good and practical design.Thanks for the idea !

    • Thanks your comment and sharing info together, I do made angle grinder I focused big pieces and thick metal cut because impossible to purchase plasma cutting track , but I have angle grinder it making me had done good job too. Thanks 😊

  • In my opinion only one side of the table is useful and with some modification to move angle grinder vertically you can keep using this tool for small discs too. Very nice work bro.!

    • so he can move it aong the x axis only as things stand. Vertical slide for smaller (worn) dscs as another comment says, or z-axis, and y axis for use of whole of table. the se are good points but maybe he did not need thoise. Also makes the project considerably more complicated.

  • Your work on this cutting tool has inspired me to build my own been working on it now for a couple weekends I will try get some video of my progress and post it to my channel, I used diffent materials because they were affordable, I don't know about where you live but here in Florida u.s. steel is insanely high priced

    • @@mr.ranyhomemade2466 one of the most appealing features of this method of cutting sheet stock is by not using a torch or plasma cutter it minimizes warping the metal .

  • great and very useful. Thank you :) What are the roller parts called? I need to build a simpler version of this, more akin to a simple saw table. Becasue I need to cut long thin parallel strips of Aluminium. May be pushing the metal through a saw table is too risky and I should clamp the metal and have a moving grinder as you do. Your thoughts? Great video of very nice idea, thank you :)

I do have clams protected metal as l cut angle grinder run perfect. Thanks 😊

    • I built a simple saw table with the angle grinder mounted underneath yesterday. The grinder blade is spinning away from the side I push the part in. I completed it and used it for the first time today. I built it using 18mm MDF. I designed the table "on the fly", with room for (1) access to grinder switch underneath, although I switch at the wall, and (2) blade release for blade change. It is very effective, and necessarily robust. So far I have only tried cutting 4mm thick aluminium plate into 10mm wide strips. With my design blade change is easy. I can now make aluminium strips easily and accurately. Glad I built it, making these strips is now much easier. Thanks for the inspiration :) I will post up basic video if I get a moment.

    • Many thanks for your comment I’m so happy to share. Well, the bearings I used diameter 8mm in, 25mm out but you can use anyway as you want with bolt and the pipe 4*4 and the bed 120cm*60cm. It help me do a lot of work, Lathe, Chop Saw Cutting Steel, Belt Grinder, and Drill Press and now I'm planning to make a milling machine so I just upgraded cutting edge slider to slash cut. kzhead.info/sun/nrKsnbKOgp1sl4U/bejne.html.   • Suprised this does not have more views, it is closest to what I am looking for that I have eben able to find. I need to cut thin long strips of aluminium. A saw table seems closer to my needs where I pust the piece through. Anyone thoughts on an angle grinder in a saw table for metal?

  • 1 bolt is not enough. The tool is traumatic and needs the best fixation. When biting the disk, the angle grinder will try to run into the material, and the bolt will not be strong enough to bend and will bend. In this design, cutting material is possible strictly from left to right. Otherwise, a crash may occur associated with the angle grinder running into the material when biting. The angle grinder's leash is too short, which does not allow the use of a small disc. But in general, even such a design is better than sawing sheets without a mechanism.

    • Thanks for sharing and your comment I thought is not perfect at all but it helped me a lot to next project especially to slide cutting big plate metals are like homemade lathe, chop saw welding table and more, I want make equipment to be good but in my country is not easy looking for and cost so expensive.   • The reason you dont see these commercially is because these things will kill you when they are on a swivel like that. Its brilliant and basic but extremely dangerous set up this way
