Surprised to see how well the underglow looks , took this car back to the 2000's . Only downside I saw was nitto lettering on Hankook tires lol . Still love it

The fact it is a DIY and showing anyone can do it. No need for professional paint or fancy tools. Yes some maybe can mess up but it's a learning experience for some and the fact that you did everything on a budget and make a cheap car look brand new is remarkable. Good job man

People are just fucken lazy and cheap. This guy is showing you how to ruin a car 1 step at a time. This type of shit makes it 10 times harder for the people who actually have to fix these cars down the road

That was some of the best 11 minutes I've spent on KZhead...wicked paint job. Wish I say this before I got rid of my first gen acura EL. This just motivated me more to work on the 2nd gen EL I picked up

i understand the premise for the series but i wish you would put a little more effort into the paint jobs. rattle can 2k clear coat and some wet sanding would make the paint job look almost as good as a professional one, and doesn’t require expensive equipment. idk just my 2¢

Love what you do for the community man. Helping so many guys out here who just need that little bit of a jump start with their car. You got my full respect man, and we desperately need more people out here like you in this extremely toxic community 🙏🏼 Man, I’m an outdoor/on site paint&body tech, and do a lot of work for dealerships with trade ins and their used car lots, and you should 1000% look into getting something like we use, which is a turbine sprayer made for painting anywhere/outdoors. They’re super small kits (about the size of a guitar amp), and give almost 0 overspray so they’re EPA certified. I use a 3M 240G which is on the more expensive side, but there’s alot of other really affordable options. A turbine/hose/and spray gun kit with a couple guns to use 1 for paint and 1 for clear (still use rattle primer), and you’d be laying down cheap pro level paint jobs while still in the driveway. Just an idea and something to look into 🙌🏼 Stay awesome man
I have a 98 civic coupe my grandfather bought for me while he was sick with cancer.. we have an engine and wheels, it's missing a whole lot. Last year he passed away in May after a long fight with his illness and since then, I have lost all motivation to finish the car and return it to it's former glory. I wish you lived around here man. Good people are hard to find. Hope you see this. Props to you man 🤘

Nice especially for a tight budget. I flipped an e46 last year and did the same process. I went with the high gloss white rust oleum. Used about 15 cants total. Let it cure for 3 days in my garage then wet sanded the whole thing then buffed it out and it honestly turned out amazing. I couldn’t believe the results from a paint job from a rattle can with a little prep work and post spray work it’ll really shine

@@beredanny8691 I used 1500 grit after paint and clear. 1500 grit wet sand use water with a hint of soap for lubricant and then use a cutting complaint when you wax

The underglow astonished me but the conversion of the paint is even better! I love the new shine it emitted. Also that end scene really reminded me of a scene in Tokyo Drift, it has that JDM vibe to it.

I agree. A clear coat and a 2-step detail definitely would've made that paint drip and If the tyre letters matched the brand I would've forgiven it. Looks good all-in-all

Don't let this distract you from the fact Hector is going to be running 3 Honda Civics with spoon engines. And on top of that he just came into Harry's and he ordered 3 T66 turbos, with NOS, and a Motec system exhaust.
Great too see you doing this for a subscriber mate good too see a budget one. My only criticism is that it would be good to see some wet sanding and buffing on the paint jobs just to bring them up but I’m a painter so I am biased 😂 but otherwise what a lovely thing you are doing for these guys man awesome
