    • Bears are abundant here. They are an important part of our food supply. Those bears fed many families over many years. The license to harvest those bears was issued by the government who pays biologists to monitor and study populations to ensure sustainability

  • Its ok to use bear meat for food but hunting as a method is in my mind not the right way. animal suffers. Death is not instant like in butchery. Hunters can try bow hunting on their own children. Shoot them in the heart and ask is they feel pain.

  • To sit in an ambush and bait an animal is not hunting nor a skill nor something that you can call an achievement...everybody can do that...hunting is to walk find and stalk an animal to find the right opportunity to kill it...

    • You do realize that the licenses used to harvest these bears are issued by the government right? You do realize that government biologists study and monitor populations of wildlife and issue quotas for harvest? They do this so that families can be fed, populations can be balanced and the program can run sustainably with a renewable resource.

    • @@canadaintheroughtv you talk about harvesting as if animals are like corn am sorry but bears are living breathing that feel pain like humans .how about leaving them alone.if you want to help people just donate the money or help build something try doing good.younever no you mite like it.
