yup u r right, I think approach was very wrong for this game, Arteta approach the tie trying to be pragmatic like the mancity game which plays in to Bayern Munich as they are more experience in UCL and can grind out tight results from hard games. Bayern saw in the first leg that Sane was their key to winning this tie and that arsenal key was Saka on the otherside, Bayern shut Saka out Arsenal couldnt shut out Sane, the second half was where the game could be won for both teams, Bayern went for it Arsenal didnt because of maybe exhaustion or wat ever, anyhow Bayern scored and controlled the game and look like they are gonna score more. Arsenal never came close to scoring as everyone stuck between going forward with everything or making sure not to concede again.

Arsenal fans used to say “all we want as fans is to challenge and have hope AGAIN because no one has the divine right to win the league”. Arteta managed to bring exactly that back to the club. It’s taken a few seasons to get to where we are because he had to go 5 steps backwards to go 7 forwards. The journey so far has been exactly what Arteta had promised back in November 2019. Rival fans were laughing at the objectives that Arteta set out. Quick question, which is more difficult? To make Arsenal challenge again from the banter club we were or, to get over the line from where we are now? We are there!!! Patience.

Our issue is the lack of quality Teams like city and Real Madrid have quality players who can get them through tough moments when the team ain’t playing well We don’t have that and haven’t had that since arguably Alexis Sanchez

You know what happened on last 20 years we were competing with top teams we had superstar In our team likes of Henry veira and so forth but we had sell all of our top players in order to finance the emirates Stadium leaving Highbury so we fell behind, other teams ie Manchester United Manchester city and Chelsea due lack of investment into the Team , while the had Russian money and Arab money 💰 Is only After when Kronke took over 100% he start investing. I understand that you and I disappointed on how we went out of the Champions league but if look back you see and also look what we are competing against Manchester city unlimited funds and already wealth of superstar team I think once you calmed down you will see how far we become the only way is up my friend ⬆️

What I saw while watching the game was men against boys we are there but we haven’t reached Bayern Munich’s level as yet.. an all out striker who doesn’t get injured every three weeks is what we need if we had a striker last night we would have won this game.. it was hard to watch last night but it is what it is Arteta has done well & we should be proud of where he has taken us so far …
Yes, they’ll have to go again in the summer if they’re going to find that elusive quality striker. Jesus, Havertz, Nketiah and whoever isn’t going to make that difference. It’s gradual improvement and they need to find that missing piece of the jigsaw. Gabriel and Saliba have been solid this year. They’re not far away but it’s a work in progress.

Our problem is still squad depth I mean decent bench people who are almost as good as the starting 11. Sell all of them ESR, Nelson, Nketia, Fabio and get players who you won’t feel like it’s a massive downgrade when you take it out saka

I think that we as fans have expectations that are distinctly different from that of the management. We need to properly appraise the development of the club since Arteta and Edu began calling the shots. We have a decidely better team, but the other squads are not resting on their oars. They are growing too.

We lost because we haven't got the depth in quality compared to the big guns of football. Although we have limited potential world-class players, we haven't got enough game-changers like the likes of Declan Rice in our team.
Also arsenal haven't got a result good forward who can make the defences worried. Harry kane clearly made arsenal defence worry.

Just saw that Arsenal is the team with the 2nd highest market value behind City. Regarding that and Bayerns current form you HAVE to go through. Experience is a massive factor but quite a poor excuse.
The team is inexperienced for this level. And thats okay. Even against Porto, Arsenal were on paper the better team, but you could see one team being a seasoned team with loads of experience, so they knew how to manage the games. And Bayern won this tie because of experience. Kind of reminds me of the Liverpool team of 17/18 where because of inexperience they would draw games in the group stages. So the onus is on Arteta and Arsenal to learn

Why are arsenal defence playing the playmaker role in attack and holding onto the ball for far too long? Why are the central midfielders acting as sweepers and not contributing to the attacking phase? Why are the wingers always 1-dimensional? Where is our Pires-like player? Saka is just another Walcott who scores. Why is Odegaard always predictable in his passing and always leans towards the right side of the field?
