  • 6 or 7 years ago, I was at Connor's first ever Anime Expo "meet and greet", and it was literally 10 of us outside by the bushes(I still have the VERY awkward videos). Now he has the biggest panel room and so many subscribers that it actually freaks me out a little to see how much he has grown. Like, I'm happy for him, but it's kind of like seeing the kid next door appear in a blockbuster movie with no warning. One day he had a few thousand subs, next I check he had 2 mil.

    • Someone from that first meetup reached out to me recently actually, and asked if I was going to go to his big panel with Mouse. That's when it hit me that I probably wouldn't even be able to get in. I went to his meetups at AE after that first one, but just 2 years later the meetups were too big for me to feel comfortable trying to get a pic with him when I already had ones from the years before. I wanted to let people have their turn. Even after seeing the increase of fans in person, it never really hit me what had happened until I saw him in big events with some of the top streamers.

  • When I was 14 I somehow managed to interview Connor through skype. It was for some kind of silly unimportant assigment for my Dutch class (not even English). All I know was that I had to interview someone and the first person I thought of was him lol. I really really liked his vids (back then he was in his Black Butler era). It felt sooo cool, having one of your fav *famous* KZheadrs with 10,000 subs talk to YOU about... well, I dont really remember what we talked about. But I bet I still have the recording I made ages ago. I especially remember asking him to pronounce his full name bcs it seemed so foreign to me. But can you imagine interviewing an ANIME KZheadR for a school assignment as a 14 year old who doesn't speak English that well??? My. Mind. Was. Blown. To this day I'm flabbergasted that that was even even possible. And then to see him grow like this? Absolutely insane. Again, thank you so much for letting me interview you. • So proud to see his growth. Back in 2018, I watched him as a medium-large KZheadr focusing on voice acting, weeb culture Fiver trolling. Now, it's less about that and more about (charity) streaming, gaming, crane games, vlogging in Japan and visiting odd places with Kaho - and I sticked around despite these changes because he is entertaining, wholesome, sarcastic and has a realistic perspective on many things.

  • On top of all the money raised with his charity events, what might be even more important is that Connor and Mouse have reached so many people and made them aware. And like he said; watching is already a huge help, but there isn't even a number for how many people may have started donating blood and or plasma after learning about CVID and other immunodeficiency illnesses. I personally, hardly have enough to come by each month, but luckily i have been approved to donate plasma and blood. Which i started doing after learning about and seeing the efforts made by Connor and Mouse. I feel like that also may be said aside from raising money. The awareness and other ways people have started and are able to help out. Love what they both have been doing and hope to be able to see much more from both of them

Now she is old, and sometimes she as no money for groceries, or she doesn't buy stuff she likes because it's too expensive. So I always put the things she didn't buy in my cart, pay for them. She only realizes when we get home. She gets mad at me because I'm spending my hard earned money. And if it's for her I don't care how much money I spend. I would give the world for that woman

  • Connor's interview is one of the only interview i've seen that talks like a normal human, he talks to anthony and to us just like a friend, he talks about his passion, his downsides, how he felt growing up, what he learned and it feels very comforting because most of subjects he talked we either experienced it or will be in the future. To see his videos since his sebastian voice acting makes me very proud of him and makes me have some motivation as well as having no more worry about the future so a big thank you to connor for being a wonderful person and helping people in need and of course anthony for making all of this great interviews possible! :D

  • I started watching Connor's videos a while before he moved to Japan and I am so happy for him for having all this success and for blowing up that much! You pointed out one of the things I like most about him, Anthony, which is his open-mindedness. He never judges other people, he goes into every new adventure with an open heart and mind and is genuinely interested in the things these people he interviews or spends a day with do. He's curious, he's brave, he's silly, he's clever, he's passionate about what he does and believes in the things he does and he's an excellent interviewer. (I hope he got a Best Interviewer Shirt! :D) He takes his work seriously, but has a ton of fun while doing it and he knows he's lucky to have all that, but still knows it was not luck alone, but also his hard work. He cares so much about others, especially his friends and does so much good. Of course I don't know him personally, but that's my impression of him and I just feel like he's a genuinely nice, kind, honest and supportive person. He's giving back so much, it's amazing and inspiring. Connor, I wish you all the best and even more exciting times and bigger adventures to come! You're awesome! ❤️
