    • @@TheSmackfan101 It was actually fairly recent. I saw Sage at a grocery store in Sacramento. I told him how cool it was to meet him in person, but I didn’t want to be a douche and bother him and ask him for photos or anything. He said, “Oh, like you’re doing now?” I was taken aback, and all I could say was “Huh?” but he kept cutting me off and going “huh? huh? huh?” and closing his hand shut in front of my face. I walked away and continued with my shopping, and I heard him chuckle as I walked off. When I came to pay for my stuff up front I saw him trying to walk out the doors with like fifteen Milky Ways in his hands without paying. The girl at the counter was very nice about it and professional, and was like “Sir, you need to pay for those first.” At first he kept pretending to be tired and not hear her, but eventually turned back around and brought them to the counter. When she took one of the bars and started scanning it multiple times, he stopped her and told her to scan them each individually “to prevent any electrical infetterence,” and then turned around and winked at me. I don’t even think that’s a word. After she scanned each bar and put them in a bag and started to say the price, he kept interrupting her by yawning really loudly.

  • I truly believe deep dish in my heart that if Kimo had shaved his head before the Royce Gracie fight he would absolutely have had won that fight. One of the ONLY advantages that Royce had was puking Kimo's hair and literally pulling out handful chunks of his hair and that was to try to control his head. That single move from Royce is what kept Kimo from totally demolishing him. Watch that fight again and again. I've watched it like 18 times and you can see if it wasn't for the desperate hair pulling Kimo would have finished him. It's literally the only reason Royce got to survive that bout and finally find a way to submit him.

  • kron may be confused about some of the numbers, but one of the numbers is interesting. i think its the speed that the earth is supposed to be orbiting sun, they say its like 66,600 MPH or something involving three sixes. that plus the idea that the entire galaxy is hurtling through space at 500,000 MPH at the same time is pretty mind-blowing/unbelievable if you really think about it. and yes this is all while the earth is also spinning on its axis.

  • Honestly, the whole prayer and hallucinogens bit is a weird thing we've practiced for at least 6000 years. Even weirder is the strange stories of times this did work from living people. I forget who, but someone was talking about how on Ayahuasca, they were for some reason transported from South America to a friend's apartment back in the US. The friend had a weird black thing sticking out of them that he pulled out. Upon returning to the states, he found out his friend's seeming chronic pain in that exact spot it was pulled from had suddenly disappeared while he was gone. Details are fuzzy, but I wouldn't fully call bullshit on Diego Sanchez's claims either honestly.

I ran into him in the concourse and got a photo... but I opened a can of worms and he got stuck there for almost the entire event taking photos... I kept going back for beer and there he was smiling and laughing with fans and taking hundreds of photos - even got a great moment when Guida joined in for a bunch of pics (this was shortly after their brawl). Such a rad person.
