Why did I just say that same thing you said about Bruno Mars being an old soul today out to lunch with a girlfriend of mine! When he did the tribute to Prince after he died my broken heart melted! And THEN he sang “That’s What I Like,” I knew I had a super crush on this man!!! Fortunate, to see him in Vegas, his last performance in May and I laughed, I cried, and danced my ass off. Silk Sonic was even better in person. The energy was incredible! I want to see him again!!!❤❤❤❤❤❤

There is a huge difference between an entertainer and a musician. Some are great musicians but not great entertainers. Others are entertaining but not musically gifted. Bruno Mars is so much both. He is a great singer/dancer/musician but he really entertains. He is having a great time and draws his audience into having a great time with him.

I seriously think Bruno is going to be a icon someday. Its still too early to give him that title, but he definitely has enough talent to be another icon like Michael Jackson and Prince. I agree. I am an old hippie (in my 60's) and have seen a lot of musicians come and go. Bruno Mars has so many of the hallmarks of someone at the beginning of what will become a legend: 1) He is contemporary and also visionary 2) His music transcends type 3) His music is enjoyed by multiple age groups 4) We haven't yet seen him at his best so there is so much more to come 5) He is just plain fun but doesn't sacrifice skill for entertainment value.
Mandu mika That was spot on. To me he's already an icon of this generation at least. I can't think of an artist right now whose music is so distinctly enjoyed by all age groups and/or genders. His music has an old school influence but he manages to make it sound contemporary that millenials can still enjoy it. And he def has more room to improve, I can't wait to see him at his best.

I'll just say I grew up on Beatles and Motown and original Star Trek (meaning I am old) and I find Bruno Mars to be one of those rare "total package" musical performers. Glad to see such talent do so well and be acknowledged by his peers in the industry.

Bruno Mars is a super cool singer, his first 2 albums (Doo-Wops & Hooligans and Unorthodox Jukebox) did quite well on the charts but in 2016, it was his 3rd album "24K Magic" that captured the attention of many more people. That album literally swept last year's Grammy awards and it's no wonder it's the party album of 2016.
I love Bruno Mars. I went to one of his concerts at BARCLAY Center on Oct. 5, 2018. And he was Awesome. My daughter, my granddaughter and myself we had a blast that evening. I recommend to his FANS to go see him when he has a concert in your state get those tickets you will not regret it what - so - ever!!! He's awesome, He's great, and He's is the Best!!! 👍👍👍....
