Still hard to believe this boy learned English on internet. I mean you can be really really good with English and its grammar. Take That Japanese Man Yuta (KZhead channel). His English grammar is on point, precise, and flawless. But he still has a thick accent. No, there's absolutely nothing wrong with thick accent. I understand them and thought it's normal for non-native speakers. But accent is hard-wired to ones tongue. That's why I thought Brian's accent is not normal. For someone who did not grow up in USA. But wtf, he's a living proof that you can sound like an American even if you grew up in southeast Asia.
@grainfrizz6 жыл бұрын

i've learned English from internet too, from games, and music. It's like only 30% I learned it from school. And that's true, my English sounds like an American. Southeast Asia maybe, but only Indonesia and Philippines in my opinion. I'm from Brian's country btw.
@diazalbn5 жыл бұрын
He's not the only one, some of us grew up with youtube and the internet in general, and though i am purely filipino, i sound american for the fact i absorbed the accent from watching youtube vids in general since i was like 4 or 5? Aside from us, Indos are the only ones who can really pull it off

Didn't know that. Damn.
Jedisponge16 Crazy right?
i've learned English from internet too, from games, and music. It's like only 30% I learned it from school. And that's true, my English sounds like an American. Southeast Asia maybe, but only Indonesia and Philippines in my opinion. I'm from Brian's country btw.
He's not the only one, some of us grew up with youtube and the internet in general, and though i am purely filipino, i sound american for the fact i absorbed the accent from watching youtube vids in general since i was like 4 or 5? Aside from us, Indos are the only ones who can really pull it off
yep, it's possible, very very possible
This makes me appreciate the song a lot more
From microwaving bread to this. Wow so talented
Making beats on FL makes you talented?
Shinobi Ninja Stupidest question this week. What does the software have to do with anything? If someone only had a banana and a drum stick and was able to make music using only that then he'd be talented. He wouldn't be untalented just because he didn't have professional shit.
Shinobi Ninja, let us see you make anything. With an attitude like that, you'll never accomplish anything in your life.
Shinobi Ninja no but microwaving bread does
Nice avatar, love that album
Oh, So he made it just LIKE DAT

I still can't believe he made his own beat, while keeping the lyrics sick. fucking prodigy.
He's a decent producer and a much better lyricist wish he stopped using shitty FL
Idk DD5 what do you have up your ass?
Idk DD5 for a non-native english speaker, writing a lyric, especially a rap song, he's doing a good job. He really is really is a prodigy.

Trust me .. virtual instruments sound realer than real these days
As someone who's been playing guitar for many years, I can tell you that most definitely does not sound like a real guitar. I could tell that was midi after the first note.
If anyone that messes around with FL Studio wants to know, he's using Morphine with the STR Elec Guitar 50's NUC in the strings preset section.
Colin Seguin Actual GOAT
Actual actual G.O.A.T.
Morphine never sounds good when i use it lol
Oscar Torres Yea I can kind of relate. When I was trying to recreate this last night with it for some reason it sounded too fast at the bpm of Glow Like Dat and I tried lowering the bpm and it either didn't help or made it too slow so I gave up and going to try later lmao
Colin Seguin i only seem to get dark sounds out of it which i like but not a big fan of morphine because everything sounds sad or dark. I prefer massive and serum. You get more spacey/wavey sounds. Im going to give morphine another try though after hearing what rich did with it.
A true talented artist
Rich chigga making some great music. Can't wait to see what 2018 has for him!

Man, sometimes I forget that music is a work of art and people actually put blood, sweat, and tears into their passion. Hope you post more of this stuff because it's fascinating seeing the process.
So excited to see he made this amazing beat on FL.
Brian, thank you for the music you make. This song was on loop on my laptop for like 5 days after a hard breakup. Absolutely essential stuff you're putting out, man. even though I write mostly indie music, your lyrics have indirectly taught me about the songwriting process a lot.
Madplatypus824 youre welcome!
Boy, if you play this song on repeat, I'd suggest you to listen to Tyler's Flower Boy. That album just breaks my heart even more

Thanks! Was working a Sample with ting ish guitar tone with a bluesy trumpet. And this ones fit.
u need to be on xxl freshman 2018
Arno tbh
Arno he's not a freshman, I think he graduated
jon doe I hope that was a joke
Arno yes, unintentionally funny, I think he's gone past the other freshman. He's from Indonesia, name another Indonesian rapper, I'll wait.
honestly all these rappers that ppl are saying should be on xxl 2018, really shouldn’t. like lil pump, trippie redd, rich chigga, nba youngboy, etc. it would’ve made since for them to be on xxl 2017, bc they blew up in 2017, but why would they be on the list after they’ve already blown up.
Ooooooooo this nice, please upload more of these
I love how pure this is.

A.N.E. production Train your ears. Crazy how in depth even the simple sounding beats can go tbh.
"real music" watch out big boy is coming through
Love the hand movements
True artist. Produces this own beat, lyrics, and voice.
Love his music keep em coming homie
WTF THE GUITAR ISNT AN ARP???? dude you are a genius
MANGO if you don't mind. What's an arp
making arpeggios is really fucking easy if you know a bit of basic music theory man
he came from an upper class family. i bet his parents forced him to learn music such as piano and stuff

1:50 you did that smooth af.
Lol he produces himself??? All his beats are fire af 🔥 Gotta respect this dude EDIT: OK PEEPS, IM GONNA ABUSE MY COMMENT NOW BUT IF YOU'D CHECK OUT MY BEATS.. THAT WOULD MAKE ME MAD HAPPY!
OUHBOY he just produce the beats. mixing and mastering by others
It's still very impressive. I'm beatmaker myself I know how much work youve got to put in for such quality beats
Zidan Firdausi when you say mixing and mastering thats just gettingg everything to sync up and sound better right?
Zidan Firdausi are you sure. I'm kind of suspicious because the guitar thing seems too complex for a "beat maker". That actually took some music theory into play.
Lol every producer needs to know music theory, looks like a typical melody every decent producer could come up with. It's still impressive, he is 17 (?) makes his own beats and manages to turn it into hits with his rapping. Awesome I got beats, but I can't rap 😆
Great job. You are talented and one of my favourite new age rappers. Just stay out of trouble and don’t get shot.
I knew what you meant when you said dreamy at the end of the video :) I agree. And this song is so beautiful, I love seeing how you created the song that makes me fall asleep at night 😌
