Hehe but imo that guma play is S tier, if it is not that precision he would have been dead but he killed 2 instead, I would not count kanavi missplay, but as supprt main, that adc play was amazing Thank you for your honest review tho

Gumayusi's play deserved a S tier, not every ADC even pro player are capable of hit and run at a faraway target while dodging everything like Guma did.
I think Broxah was talking about the whole play lioe overall clash. It became B tier because of Kanavi massive mistake that made the game 4v5 too early but it it was just Guma play 2v1 it will be for sure S tier.
@@koloro_984 he dodged 2 zeri q's and an aatrox q3. edit: if any adc could do this than why arent there any other adcs plays like this at worlds lol. especially on hit varus of all things.
@@koloro_984 Bruh stop downplaying Guma. He dodge those Zeri autos along and he knew Aatrox has no Q so he knows when and where to flash. That play was no easy. You gotta include that there is so much pressure this game and Zeri has a slight advantage in items. A single mistake or a single Zeri auto not dodge early would have caused him his life and Zeri living would still be a force to rekon since it is super hard to catcb her. Not every adc in worlds can do what Guma did.
@@koloro_984 Yes he flashed Aatrox and Aatrox was basically useless, but his duel with Zeri was more than what you are saying. He was dodging Zeri auto while autoing Zeri and that is not easy given the pressure. Ruler was considered to be the best adc and Guma was 2nd and you could be right that other adc in worlds can do that but I would say only a few can. Remove the western adc's because for sure tgey can't and you're left with some few lpl/lck adc to pick from and I doubt that most of them can do it. Maybe Peyz and Elk but Inseriously doubt the others.
Your opinion isn't facts. Not down playing? Can you read your reply again "any lpl/lck" adc? Mind you that "zeri" was also "ruler" . "That" adc that people had been saying the best adc this year, on his renowned Zeri.
Faker's play was followed by him calling out the play 30 seconds before as their tier 1 mid is falling. Then he goes bot, as he is moving he calls it again. Like the foresight is SO CRAZY. And then guma's play was absolutely crazy, for me that too was a S, maybe to a pro that level of mechanics is common but to an average player like me, watching an adc flash kite aatrox q, zeri q at point blank and hit the zeri back with 5 AA, 1 Q within FRACTIONS of a second is mind blowing. Like... The precision, the accuracy and the sheer speed was absolutely mind blowing. 1 zeri w + q combo kills him, 1 q from aatrox puts him below 50 hp. He still doges it ALL at point blank range, 1v2s them both and KILLS THEM BOTH. LIKE WHATTTTTTTTT.
I'd put that Guma play to S tier bro but it was actually the whole play Broxah is talking about and had to put it to B tier because of that Kanavi misplay and was a 4v5 already.
tbf Keria misplayed too and it became 4v4 shortly after. Also zeri and aatrox dmg aint as high as you think. Zeri would need 3-4 shots to down varus. Zeri’s fed but his team is quite behind. Aatrox q wouldn’t do much dmg if not hitting the sweet spot.
@@jirawatp2677 thats the thing, Zeri needed like 3-4 Q's to do more damage, but guma dode 2 and like half of the other, and also dodged Aatrox Q3, thats why its so good
@@TheTdg97 sure thing the play is really good, I never said anything to downplay it. But the original comment was way too far off the mark with saying zeri 1 w+q can kill guma's varus, and aatrox q is a big factor if it hit. I'm saying that's not the case. Aatrox q would be able to knock up leads to zeri killing him sure. But it won't do much by itself.
@@jirawatp2677 Nope. I just calculated it, and Zeri can definitely take down Guma. Zeri is level 13, equipped with three full items, tier 2 boots, and two long swords, boasting a base AD of 280. Factoring in a 60% crit chance from her items (each providing 20% crit), the average damage from one Zeri Q is 528.25 (excluding ult) within a range of 359 to 798. Additionally, auto attacks by a stacked Q Zeri deal 292 damage. Zeri's ult deals a total of 504 damage, with the ult empowered Q averaging 617.5 damage. Her W consistently inflicts 1008 damage. A single combo of W, E over the wall, R + Q + AA racks up 2422 damage. On the other side, Guma is a level 15 Varus with a base HP of 1955, no armor, and only 40 MR from Wits End. Some of Zeri's damage is magic, so considering magic damage mitigation, Zeri's combo of W, E, Q + AA (E used for closing the distance) still deals a total of 1909 damage (give or take, the estimates are towards the reserved side. In reality it would be more), with her ult still active. In this scenario, Zeri's 1 Q takes about 30% of Varus' health, and her 1 W takes off about 51.5%. This is just Zeri alone, not even factoring in Aatrox. Aatrox, at level 15 with one item, has a base AD of 175 and a total of 227 AD in his ult with 2 points, granting a bonus 30% AD. His Q1 at this stage inflicts 112 + 120% AD, totaling a whopping 384 damage plus a knockup. So, Guma doesn't stand a chance, even if any single one of these hits. Basically, 1 Q + AA from both Zeri and Aatrox, and guma would have died.
Faker and Deft really beat the "too old to win" allegations.
The Guma play is so underrated. It looks good, but if you go frame by frame and see just how insanely many things he dodged that all would've oneshot him in the span of like 0.8 seconds, it's absolutely insane. The Faker flash ult was god tier though. And given the stage and against Ruler as revenge against the varus flash ult on Faker's Karma that cost Faker worlds that year, it's really SSS.
Oner's rell flashing over ashe ult then engaging is more underrated imo. Him and faker are in sync with these engages this series

So insane... he's getting poked out and your team is behind and you flash over the ashe ult and jump on them and then with faker in perfect sync shuffles them and they both die instantly doing 0 damage and winning a game they had no right to win at that moment.

It tears me up when Broxah thanked Faker because I know how hard it is for a league player to convince everyone that he still got it. Wolf, two-time league champion, retired at 23! Ambition said it the best. For old players, you only got one chance. Slip up and you lost. It hurts my heart. These players are my heroes when I'm playing league back then. I hope this Faker play would somehow ignite these "old" players hearts and grind it out to prove that they are not "has been"s, they are still at the top.
Probably the best Ultimate List so far... Really grateful for Broxah's informative and analytic commentary for the plays, really highlights the key things. I do think the Guma play is ranked a bit lower than expected, probably needed a bit more time checking out Guma's decision-making during that 1v2. Props though on the JDG vs KT one! Not only did Broxah highlighted the good plays from Knight and Ruler but also criticized the decision-making from KT, like it just was so bewildering how BDD and Kiin positioned for that fight, knowing that there is still the carries for JDG. The Faker play didn't get further analysis after the play but with the hype and excitement from the play, at the end of it, it was such a clean Ace. Hope for more Mr. Broxah stuff :)

I think what was crazier about Faker’s play was that he was calling it way before he did it. The comms released just made that play cooler. Edit: Thanks for the ranking broxah, enjoyed clips of you on Msi and coming into worlds you were one of the best costreamers to watch imo

Mr. Broxah, thank you for ranking them. I wish Guma's play was on top of Bdd's play because he played against better players from the team that was considered the best and was the favorite to win and also he played Varus against Zeri and Aatrox. I love your video, though and your voice is so calm. I also love the fact that you didn't use profanity just to prove your point. Keep it up.
Best part about that Faker play is the comms have been revealed. Faker was telling his teammates he plans to go for Ruler 30 SECONDS BEFORE IT HAPPENED. He said it when he was still at bot lane defending turret against 369 Renekton. That was when Faker called it, and then, in literally every one's sight, Faker just makes the play. It wasn't some hidden play. All of JDG was watching him walk up. It's crazy that Faker still pulled it off against the world's best team (coming into the tournament).
If you break down how insane Guma had to play to win that 1v2 in the first clip, that's definitely S tier. The clip as a whole maybe A or B, but the Guma play was SSS.
Faker's shuffle is so beautiful and scary at the same time. It's the only way in. If he miss, he's gonna get Ult by Ruler and mincing to pieces by Varus and Ashe.
How does Gumayusi fit in B from that first highlight?... Everyonelse was either 1v1 or filling in whereas Guma was 1v2, and his control had to be absolutely perfect to have survived that... If he had died, Ruler could have turned the fight around...
If he died killing no one, that would be a int. Because Faker catching Kanavi made it a 4 v 5 to begin with. Also Guma was 2 levels up with all spells so it was played well but not the best play.
@@sukfkdjsjd What does it being 4v5 have anything to do with anything? Keria inted it right back, and the rest of T1 were stuck below at dragon. JDG did well here to find Guma isolated, making it a 1v2 essentially. 2 Ruler autos already got him down to below half, you play that any worse and you're dead. didnt flash Q3? dead. didnt dodge 1 more auto? dead. wrong target selection? dead.

Not defending Kanavi or anything but as a jungler, who's risking ocean soul, I can somewhat understand why he tried going in the pit. He probably didn't expect that kind of damage from Faker as well.
If Kanavi had a ward, he should drop a ward in the pit and wait to flip the smite.
He tried dashing into the pit using Q, but that only works if his ult was up.

but guma also rate his plays againts gala(aphelios) was harder than this 1v2 with aatrox+zeri , he only said that his main focus was ruler zeri, completely ignore aatrox, then after he kills zeri, aatrox is easy prey, gumachad

Yeah I had to stop watching the video already after he gave that a B. You put ANY other ad player in that spot and they're dead any day of the week. You can see how much hp Guma loses when he starts getting hit. "Ultimate list" with a western dude watching clips at full speed, what a joke.

Actually It's not simple as you think it is. He actually tried to bait first with an auto but Ruler didn't take the bait then he flash ulted.

Guma is underrated as always, i stop watching this video after seeing u rate Guma play 1vs2 at the B tier. when everybody watched that moment, no one thought Guma would be alive but he was. it is insane
Yes, Guma's 1v2 outplay deserves an S+. Because he not only dodged the skills but also retaliated without any delay (if at normal speed, it would feel like Guma is using a tool because the two actions almost happen simultaneously). In the case of RTS players (Starcraft, Warcraft 3, etc.), I think this is not difficult, but for MOBA players, it's challenging because MOBA doesn't require players to have an excessively high APM.

the biggest thing about the oner play was that before oner did that amazing engage the fight was completely doomed for T1. Oner finding that engage probably saved T1 from a loss in the semis. Extremely underrated.

as an adc main, i think what guma did was a lot harder than what ruler did. at least for me i can play like ruler did but in guma situation i would die instantly

i think guma 1v2 deserves to be rank at s tier. Ruler at its peak and 369 one of the best top laner in league. win that 1v2 with a smash.
For the first clip with Gumayusi 1v2ing, the reason Kanavi was going forward was because he had Ori ball, looking for Ori R, but then the ball de-attached from him
So it's not really his fault afterall

Before this tournament these people downplayed him.

Bro really put guma in b tier. Whatever kanavi did doesn't affect what guma did, he deserves to be in S and arguably at SSS
Ruler + Knight played amazing, but that was mostly a throw by KY, with Kiin going to Sweden instead of staying with their team, and BDD and Aiming just falling asleep in the middle of the play (that Xaya ult was just... embarassing).
You can say that about every play lol. Oner flash engage was only possible cause the other 2 was sleeping didn’t flash. Knight also didn’t place down his rocks preemptively with oner being trapped against the wall. Faker azir play on ruler was cause ruler walked up greedily to poke oner and knight/Kanavi were too occupied with aatrox.

I like Faker, I like Azir. But his play there wasn't actually that impressive. The call was good, but the overall fight was not all about this play he did. The whole team was looking for opportunity there. Sure, it made things easier, but it's kinda basic the execution and predicting the flash from Ruler.
I think you gotta consider the scenario here. T1 is down 5k gold and baron empowered minions that just took their t1 mid tower and destroying their t2. Their only saving grace was getting Cloud Soul after they lost the baron fight (3 kills to 0 if im not wrong) Right after the t1 tower falls, the comms were Oner and Faker trying to look for any engages. Faker calls for everyone to walk up before making the play. The play itself with the flash prediction maybe only A or B tier but the scenario around it makes it SSS. It's the exact same with the Faker shockwave (10k gold down with t2 towers missing.) Faker always makes the "impossible" plays happen.
Faker goes up and autos once, predicts Ruler flash and flash-ults Ruler, the main dealer varus. T1 is down 4k gold with JDG pushing with baron buff. That is literally the hardest play to win 5v0...with the series possibly on the line versus the 'golden road' team. Ruler was also rated No.1 by many befor worlds which makes that play even better.
people who say “i like faker but…” are the most idiotic people on earth fake fans who don’t understand the game. the pressure, the crowds, no turret, minion pushed, down in gold, predicting ruler flash baiting by not flashing first, yea you don’t see these things because in reality you’re just a big hater 🤣
watch the coms the whole team pf T1 was like there's no angle Faker kept going "I'm looking for an angle hold on"
@@AnythingKZhead. Label queen I see, nah I am not a hater. But I've seen those things too many times to feel that impressed by it. Sure, the situation itself makes it better. But the technical play isn't.
The Guma 1v2 play feels like it wasnt rated as a 1v2 by Broxah at all. He goes way too deep into the other stuff.
Yeah. Guma's Varus against full health Zeri and the Aatrox should be on top of BDD's Neeko play. I have played Varus and once you get caught it is over. It is still unbelievable how he lived through it all and got both of them in the end. That was some God mode on :)
