This T1 is the strongest team League has ever seen. So glad they re-signed. Keria is a genius Guma showed he exactly knows the dmgs, insane at kiting, otherworldly plays Faker and Oner incredibly in Sync And Zeus became a stable reliable independent player. Edit: Kkoma re-signed too. Next year will be T1 Golden Road.
Overall JDG was more dominant/stronger this year. They only lost Worlds to the eventual Champions but won 2 splits + MSI. T1 is definitely one of the most dominant teams in Worlds history. Along with SSW 2014 and SKT 2015. Only dropping 2 games at Worlds.

SKT 2015 is just unbeatable, unbeatably the most dominant team ever in the League history. The 1st Prime of Faker with insane mechanics with his best partner Bengi, Great Top Marin and Bottom duo Bang&Wolf. In that season, Faker could literally play any champions in mid lane and still win. That's just the end of the story.

It was hard to top off last year's storyline, but Riot production did not disappoint with the hype this year.
Last Year was good. Old School mates, from teamates to Rivals. One a veteran of the game, the other soon to do his military service. Was an insane series.

Since deft aiming for his First. and this year Faker aiming for his teammates first worlds. but if you connect the story of T1 from last year worlds. coming to 2023 as a shaky T1 losing all finals in LCK kick out in MSI 2023. injured faker. 50/50 to qualify in worlds. beat all star KT 2 times in summer split. lost again in finals. now they are playing in worlds for the last time from this rosters. i think T1 story was more epic compare to DRX cinderella. but Last year Finals was more epic compare to this finals. Once you play GOD - T1 They gonna crumble 1 by 1 - LPL

This was the most exciting worlds I have watched. Perhaps because I really followed all the regions this year. But the plays, rivalries and upsets were just amazing. Really did not know who would be at the top.

I have been supporting T1 since I started playing League when T1 won their first championship. My first ever skin that I bought was SKT T1 Vayne. I already stopped playing League three years ago because of work and everything, but I still support and never put a single doubt to T1 even in their lowest state. Congratulations to the whole T1 team (from the players, coaching staff and everyone who belongs in this organization). Your championship means a lot not only to your organization, but to every single fan (old and new) who believes in your team during their highs and lows. 🎉🎉🎉

One thing why Riot LoL esports always had a spot in my heart eventhough I'm not playing LoL anymore is that is that they put so much effort organizing Championship like this. The amount of emotion and pride from staffs, caster, team and fans makes the tournament more magical.

its crazy because JDG had the best roster and ruler was playing like a machine. but T1 3 prodigies guma, keria and zeus all had the potential to be the best in the world, but they had to reach the potential at worlds, together, an absurd dream at different times past year. the supercrazy thing is, faker played out of his mind, he hadnt been a top 5 mid for a wile now and yet he smurfed on the LPL. what faker did at worlds was like how messi carried argentina to world cup win, unbelievable... and what really made t1 the best team ever, Oner went from playing like a diamond jungle to literally smurfing on everyone. jg gapping and out clutching everyone around him. alot of ppl dont consider this now that they won like they did, but T1 almost lost too team liquid at swiss stage. they were struggling against team liquid. a few days later they r destroying the LPL. i dreamed of this roster reaching their potential and faker playing at his best, but too see it happen in real time at worlds vs the LPL was the best esports i ever saw, ik the finals were anticlimatic, but JDG was the finals... look what T1 had to do to beat JDG, incredible clutch outplays, insane. so happy for this team, so much credit to faker for helping the prodigies thrive under pressure and become gods. faker deserves a special skin along with his worlds skin

Faker is god, even more than Messi. I truly respect his performance at the World cup however, Messi needs a teammate but T1 needs Faker, that's the difference. T1 went straight 9 losing streak w/o Faker but as he came back, they were the runner-up in Summer and won the World's.

How do you even be consistently be good to battle for 1st place, that's so unheard of. After last year I thought they wouldn't have the mental capability to return to form just like after SKT lost in 2017. I'm happy to be proven wrong. 진짜 역대급 월즈였다.. 23월즈 플레이인부터 BDS가 기대감 올려주고 새로 도입된 스위스 스테이지에서 말도 안되는 대진들이 완성되고 어수선했던 티원이 각성하고 징동을 4강에서 꺾고 페이커의 4번째 우승까지..!! 게임이 스포츠가 될 수 있는 이유를 여실없이 보여준 월즈였다

On notice, never ever any team took more than 1 game to T1 on Worlds scale last 2 years. DRX alone took them 3. And i don't want to go further about what kind of bad beats, incredible lack of luck, steals they suffered. And what godlike resiliency they showed. T1 went through 15 games for their entire journey. DRX had 36. DRX also won 4 out of 4 Bo5 they played being down 1-2 (+ 3-1 GenG with Ruler). One even being down 0-2 and making second ever reverse sweep, against just nonetheless than World Champs. It's just 9 games on match point and they won them all. 9 out of 9. T1 had absolute dominance. That's all. DRX had sort of dominance, length of the path, upper adversity, and being way lesser on every analyst desk about their chances for big title. No one would have even imagine they can go through LCK gauntlet qualifier alone and wipe out KT + LSB on Bo5. Never anyone mentionned them able to accomplish something like that. Besides when they faces minor regions (3 games on plays-ins + GAM on group stages), DRX was always way underrated and underdog. Also, T1 beat 6 teams to reach world title. TL, C9, BLG, LNG, JDG and Weibo. DRX beat 13. KT, LSB, RNG, Saigon, Istanbul, Isurus, Mad Lions, Rogue, GAM, TES, EDG, GenG and T1. DRX Worlds 2022 > T1 Worlds 2023. Not even question. It's easier for T1 to dominate LPL. They have no macro since FPX/EDG. But what happened against DRX 2022? Damwon 2021? G2 2019? SSG 2017? Curiously, once T1 faced other regions it's not that kind of easy way right? DRX 2022 run was not only greater than T1 2023. It was greater than any of 13 Worlds run on history until now.

i think it wouldve been even more wild of a year if it was JDG vs T1 in the finals, and the result was the same as how they played against them in semis. I think people wouldve absolutely lost their minds way more than how the worlds went. Still a good worlds tho, didnt expect Weibo to make it to finals, T1 was just too motivated for Weibo to win lol
I started playing League in 2013 but just start watching World since 2017. I asked my friend which team is better in the final and he said SKT T1. I chose to become SKT T1 fan just then but immediately saw Faker defeated. I keep cheering for SKT and now after 6 years i finally see them become world champion again. I'm not a emotional guy but my eyes get tearing up when i saw T1 lift the trophy. I'm so happy to become T1 fan at their lowest and now be with them at their highest.

Man, I got goosebump watching this. Been watching T1 won 3 times since 2015, but this one was probably the most emotional. I had doubted them like many others, but here we are, the most perfect ending. And that line, "All roads lead to me", so iconic lol.
This is the best worlds series so far. So many legends were back and in the quarter finals. It could have gone any way. I'm glad Faker got another championship. He deserves it. He's the GOAT of e-sports.
Honestly, this run was perfect to further cement Faker's legacy as the GOAT. After a heartbreaking defeat at worlds finals last year, a disappointing loss to BLG at MSI, Faker's extended break due to injury and then the team going on a huge loss streak and being on the brink of elimination without him. Then he comes back, the team is able to break the losing streak and even though they get destroyed by Geng in the finals, they qualify for worlds as second seed, which, for the first time in Faker's career, is in Korea. Faker and T1 winning worlds again in Korea, 10 years after his debut, while being the last remaning LCK team and completely dismantling the LPL 11-1 is a feat that will be hard for anyone to surpass.
